The author of the mod has since posted in that thread (and updated the flightsim.to page) to say there is no difference when the mod is active. It doesn't work.

Yup, seems nothing of all the tree mods do work - to bad !

Not at my sim since the update. Does the LOD slider work at all? I.e. setting the slider from 100 vs 200 - does it make any noticeable difference?

I want better textures on the toilets inside the airport buildings. And I want to see them from 20 miles away when I zoom in.

In the Flightsinulator Forum they say leave it as it is after the Update from Asobo is almost the better way..

With the mod i see not realy a difference with the LOD set to 200, but could be wrong.

OK.  If that is what you want, you could start a separate thread.  We are talking about tree LOD.  

So from the msfs forums both Propellar (the flightsim.to fix)  and the Blog tree fix guys have confirmed both fixes now do nothing.

Yes.  So rather than fix it as they stated, they have nerfed our ability to adjust it completely now it seems. 

I had hoped they had left the fix out of the update by mistake, but now it seems they have changed something, that possibility has gone. 

I have no more words left - totally exasperated by they lack of understanding from this crew. 

I though it was maybe a language barrier causing a misunderstanding, but there are plenty of French people on here who understand the issue perfectly.

Let's face it - they don't seem to like us messing with 'their' sim, especially with the xbox coming out.

I don't doubt it. The first thing we see when we boot in to the sim is the screen turning white and the beautiful green XBOX Logo appearing. That's told me from day one where their priorities lie.

Says it all really.

I think he’s be better off spending his energy doing something else rather than trolling this thread. 

I think you guys should know it by now. Xbox will be their main money making platform and they will do everything to make the xbox version look visually similar to the pc version. Now ofcourse the xbox series x hardware is significantly weaker than most high end pcs today. They can't have the pc version looking marginally better than the series x version. That means poor sales. Lod degradation, trees lod, blurry mesh and a few other stuff is the proof.

The biggest proof of all is when they confirmed in yesterday's stream that they dont have any plans for DLSS. Xbox SeriesX has amd hardware which doesn't support dlss. Go figure.

Well...they said LOD reduction caused by smaller tree size has been fixed. Maybe the LOD reduction we still see is not related to tree size? Ever thought about that? 😉

They repaired it by a meter... They can't fix if they want good Xbox performance. The distance radius of trees and buildings has the biggest influence on performance.
