- Are you happy with the edition you have choosen to buy?

I answered No, I bought Standard but wish I plumped for Premium thinking Id be able to Upgrade at a lower cost later on....but no you have to buy it at Full Price #Facepalm hopefully a sale comes a long one day.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

I am not what I would call exactly 'happy' with the product in every respect; I think the compulsory nature of the patching and the method by which it is implemented is a bit convoluted with it requiring you to go to two destinations (the sim, and the MS web page) to achieve this. I would say I tolerate it rather than be turning cartwheels over it.

Generally speaking, I have always bought the super-duper versions of Flight Simulator, but not necessarily because I wanted all the features, more because I wanted to ensure that everything was included so that no issue would derive from not being in that position, which you might recall, occurred with one of the FSX patches which need you to have the super-duper version and the Acceleration expansion in order to it to function properly.

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

I bought the premium edition - mainly for the extra airports and for the longitude. I'm not happy that the longitude is still what I consider to be incomplete, and the airports haven't really been touched since release. I was also hoping that having spent around twice as much as for the standard edition we might get some little extras along the way. For all of these reasons I answered that I'm not happy with the edition I bought.

I tend to buy the the best edition but not this time, I chose the Standard edition because I was not much interested by the aircraft of airports coming with the two premiums and I found the difference of price not justified. And I do not regret it when I read the comments of the simmers on the said aircraft...

No secret here. The core sim needs to be addressed and fixed before any new cities or payware add-ons are considered. I've spent enough already.

The least they (asobo) can do is fix the core sim, PLEASE!

Thank you.

MSFS

More than happy with my purchase, frustrating at times, but i see steady improvement, and from my point of view as a customer, the future looks bright.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Standard edition. I can (and want) to live without any default airports / aircraft which would have to be replaced anyway. I'm not happy with the purchase (yet), it was an unfinished, unpolished product, but still voted yes as in the long term i believe i will be happy. I always purchase directly from the vendors when possible, thus avoiding delays and issues of all sorts with sites such as SimMarket etc.

CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11

The thing I am unhappy about is the instability of MSFS. Now flying P3D, until my PC gets back from the shop. Each flight with P3D has zero problems from start to finish. This has not been my experience, as well as many others, with screen freezes, CTDs, etc, which Asobo says they are working on but no solution in sight.

Premium Deluxe/Yes/Yes

In fact, MSFS is putting cash in my pocket every day.

MSFS has been rock solid for me. Very few CTDs. It runs extremely well, even on low-end, crappy hardware like my rig, and looks good even with the settings at low-medium.

And with the WT and other mods, MSFS is a winner in my book!.

No option to say I bought the disk version!!!

CORSAIR OBSIDIAN SERIES™ 750D FULL TOWER CASE - Intel® Core™ i7 Eight Core Processor i7-9700K (3.6GHz) 12MB Cache - Gigabyte Z390 UD: ATX, LG1151 - 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz - NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER - 2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 256MB CACHE - 1TB INTEL® 760p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (upto 3230MB/sR | 1625MB/sW) - CORSAIR 650W TXm SERIES - CoolerMaster MasterLiquid Lite 120 High Performance Liquid Cooler

Bought the top of the range premium deluxe version as I knew I would regret it if I went for the cheap option and the difference in cost was nothing compared to the cost of upgrading my PC to run it.

For me, the amount of flying I've in the 172 steam gauge version has been more than worth the extra few pounds it cost.

Allright, I have added the option to vote for the boxed version. When it comes to the store would probably had been better to implement the store in the question either instead of asking just yes/no, but anyway...

The survey perhaps needed either a better formed question, or an additional question.  In so far as I am happy/unhappy with MSFS in general, I am satisfied that I purchased the version that I purchased.  As Chock stated however, that does mean I am happy with the MSFS product.  Not at this stage of its development.  And not with the content and pace of progress to date.  I feel I bought in to a trial.  And if this were a subscription product I'd have cancelled quite some time ago.
