Started msfs with the widgeon as the first aircraft and had the same issue as in my last post. Back to the start page and loaded the default C172 G1000 no problems with the trim. Back to the Widgeon and the same issue. Shut down msfs and restart with the Wigeon already selected and same issue with elevator trim Now that ire read your first post that is not what happened to me. i think my issue was a stuck button on my joystick that is why it does not do that any more. it just cause trim to max out until i re clicked that stuck button. So it was a hardware issue. The issue your explaining has not been reported at all. Weird return to center and is stuck. Ok lets keep an eye on this as i have no answer for you to be honest. This may be on your end. Do me a favor and unplug all hardware and then try again with keyboard and mouse only. Edited June 8, 20215 yr by Flysimware

Shut down msfs and restart with the Wigeon already selected and same issue with elevator trim I tried but cannot replicate this pitch trim problem. The trim setting seems independent of whether or not the engines are running or whether or not the avionics switch is on or off. I do not have the Honeycomb controller, however. I wonder if you have some type of conflict going on with one of the Honeycomb switches. Al
June 8, 20215 yr Honeycomb yoke and throttle, Redbird RD1 pedals here...I do not have the trim issue reported above. I also don’t have any of the AP buttons programmed on the Bravo. I use a separate touch screen/knob device to do that stuff. Eagerly awaiting the next update. It’s fun being a racehorse with the extra engine power, but certainly eats gas like this. If you can also use differential engine power if you have two throttles set up. What's 'scary' is on the water differential engine power is ALL you have unless you are moving fast enough so that the rudder is effective. Al

Al Yeah that helps but trying to make a 90 degree turn taxiing at 10kts shouldn't be that difficult. I realize the water handling is tricky but I've never flown a twin IRL that responds that slowly on ground taxi. For example, if I'm moving at 15kts and just apply and hold the left or right brake, the ac will not veer much until you get below 10kts. I can't speak to real life on the widgeon but I am unable to do a pivot turn in this one. Still having a ton of fun fly ng around in it though. Modded the GTN750 into the panel and using the autopilot controls on my Bravo quadrant am able to hold alt and fly a GPS nav course. RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Well all my IRL experience has been in SEL tricycle gear a/c, so can't really comment on the turning ability of a 1940s, twin engine, amphibious, taildragger! I must say, however, putting a GTN750 in such an aircraft is certainly interesting. 😀 Al

June 8, 20215 yr Found the trim problem. It was the auto pilot on the Honeycomb Bravo. The left hand rotary control was on vertical speed and setting it back to altitude fixed the issue. If you can walk away it's a good landing

That why I opted to upgrade my GNS430W to Avidyne IFD440 for only $7000 "trade"' in and installed in myself! 😎 Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). June 9, 20215 yr Is there a way to ditch the modern gps and radio systems? Is there a vintage radio option? Thank you. P.S. When I bought a reproduction flintlock Kentucky pistol with our covid stimulus check, I did want to find an internal striker fired ignition system like a Glock 17 has. I wanted real sparks from a real flint striking a real steel (the 'steel' is the thing that was later called a frizzen). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. June 9, 20215 yr Commercial Member Beta 1.4 is available to download. The HSI CDI and the flags were not working and now fixed. Some pull knobs and switches had no sound and is now fixed. The engine oil cool down time was correct. No change. ========================= Next we are fixing the missing bulbs from the interior models as they were working before. Clock backlight stuck on. Clickable panel lights from the red lamp housings knob. The overhead panel works for now. And we will read and check any reported issues.
