Yeah, and that’s one of the reasons I don’t get why people are so critical about the default planes, like they were subpar when compared to other sims. I get people want them to improved, but isn’t that what they are trying here? It not just flight sims that these people are continuously complaining about. We all have RL friends like this.
June 23, 20214 yr 1st complaint : Asobo has no idea what they are doing Avionics are word not allowed. They need to just fix it. Asobo : hire WorkingTitle to fix avionics 2nd complaint : Why does Asobo is only hiring expert now They couldn't do that before.? Asobo : request expert and post job posting to address the issue and beta test 3rd complaint : Asobo has no idea what they are doing they should just give up... June 24, 20214 yr Shouldn’t this have been thought about in early development? Better Late than Never I guess! Chris Camp

I'm sure they didn't have the resources, not to mention that prematurely releasing the sim during the pandemic likely drove up sales. Now that the Xbox release is upon us, they can start focusing on the smaller details.

Flyable, yes - I think they've been flyable since the AP was fixed - aside from the bug that had the 787 jumping around on the runway after SU4 (which was fixed with a hotfix). While some issues remain, most of the planes are better than the default planes in FSX. Surely you remember the default A321, right? Anyway, I'm more than happy that they actually care to improve the flight dynamics of the default aircraft - for now the C152 and C172, more to come. And yes, we all know (Jörg and Seb included) that adverse yaw is missing (or way too low), but that will come to the next sim update. In previous installations of MS Flight Simulator the default aircraft only ever improved (if at all) when you bought a new version. The Da40TDI had (and quite possibly still does have) a bug in the fuel tank transfer pump that set the transfer rate too low and resultiung in fuel being transferred slower than it was being used from the primary tank. That, combined with the fact it was a preimium aircraft so the one numerical value that needed changing was encrypted, did a pretty decent job of making the plane unflyable over any reasonable distance.
June 24, 20214 yr I have over 200 hours in the C152... It handles fairly well in the sim, but IRL I can see trees going towards the horizon when I look out of the windows.

Yep, that's pretty annoying. I filed a bug report. I don't deny there are issues with the default planes, and in some cases they're taking too long to fix them. Still I think the quality of the default planes is a lot better than it ever was in a previous version of MS Flight Simulator. When a plane you've paid extra for is released in that state and not fixed at the earliest possible opportunity after the problem is reported, I'm afraid I have to differ with you.
