What about performance? Think WIn 11 might be better?

Can you do any of these things? Because I was informed that they would not change in the final release.

Task Bar

  1. Drag and drop files to running apps

  2. Cannot drag and drop app icons to pin to task bar

  3. No option to choose task bar location

  4. No option to choose task bar size

  5. Never Combine Labels options missing

  6. No option to turn system icons on/off in tray

  7. No clock on secondary monitor

  8. System time doesn't show seconds

  9. Task bar context menu only settings option. No option to launch task manager, etc

  10. No toolbars in taskbar. Cannot add Address, Links, Desktop and Custom folders to Task Bar

  11. No screen snip in quick actions menu

  12. Shift + Click - No longer open new instance of an app

  13. No option to quickly change Power Mode (Best Battery Life, Best Performance, etc) from task bar

  14. Apps can no longer customize areas of the Taskbar

  15. Cannot view or add Calendar events from Taskbar

  16. People bar has been removed

Upgraded from Win10 to 11 in 30 minutes without any problems. All my files, apps, connected devices and of course MSFS are working like before as expected.

 

I can just imagine the threads now, "Just installed W 11, and now _ _ _ _ doesn't work in MSFS. ( fill in the blanks) . What could be wrong? "🤨

   Should be interesting.

Yep, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!  It's not broken here all's ultra stable and functional.  Simmers are, on the whole, gluttons for punishment...🙃

I  switched last week after having my first CTD in Win 10 for weeks. Four days now in WIN 11 no issues at all.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
