This is a quote from a post you made regarding how you think I will behave regarding the DC6 "It will happen, you are enjoying it because its a recent release. When PMDG and other developers release currently used aircraft, this one will not interest most at that point." I guess you must have your crystal ball working well.

What I am is the type of person that likes realism and I struggle with how to make a plane that stopped production in 1958 fit into today's realism. So after a little research today the aircraft is only used for military and wildfire fighting. So I don't simulate those scenarios in my simming. I will end with, you sound like a person that is quick to jump to conclusions. The unlimited world of imagination my friend. I just use ramps instead of gates or just start at the runway and pretend it’s 1958.🙂 Vic green

The plane is basically the same, but MSFS makes it really shine. Being the first really complex add-on for the platform (sorry CRJ) also plays a role. Does it matter? It’s still a pretty phenomenal plane and just what the community needed at this time. Even if your predictions were fully realized it will nonetheless forever be considered a milestone in MSFS’s history.
