Thanks for your suggestions Glenn. I actually thought of a 32" or 34" 1440p or maybe even 4K  paired up with a RTX 3080..my budget is up to $4000 to $5000.. ...let's see if it will be worth it after SU6..then ill start building the new monster

How in the world are you running 4k Ultra with these FPS?

Even my 3080ti can barely do this.

Let's be honest, the clouds don't look so great. They are a mix of good looking clouds, and clouds that look a fungus. I mean, it's not an earth shattering issue, but we gotta be honest here, the clouds still need a lot of work.

Just make sure the monitor can d GSync and run HDR at the same time.

Some do odd stuff like GSYnc on the Display Port and do HDR on the HDMI port.

Sim looks good, a bit overexposed and a bit blurry in the distance. This is everything on Ultra - both LOD at 200 at 3440x1440. Flying over the Bahamas. 

Oh, how do I get rid of the top bar arrow? It's not going away since SU5.

press the up key on your keyboard. It will vanish until you move your mouse again.

I hit the up arrow key on my keyboard, below the end key, and it goes away.

Agreed the clouds looked good in SDR on HIGH and ULTRA pre SU5, but after switching to HDR they looked pixelated again and grainy. Likely the old(er) system and video card but still.... that photo corroborates. Wonder why the regression since they had been fixed previously...

If you never want to see that annoying handle, and can remember that all you need to do is move your mouse to the top center of the screen to see the toolbar, then this is for you:

The fact that some people use more than one simulator is going too far for some.  I'll use X Plane or P3d sometimes as both of those sims have given me a lot of pleasure over the years. My favourite aircraft, like the A2A aircraft, are not available in MSFS.  

Most of my time is on MSFS, but I really don't get why any mention of another sim starts something akin to road rage.
