If that means spreading updates out to one every 6 months I’m onboard. Probably after 3 or 4 years of MSFS. There is no way Microsoft is keeping that many workers at Asobo working on MSFS after several years have passed - the revenue from MSFS after several years won't justify it. I can imagine maybe two updates a year, after the 4th year of MSFS. Edited August 7, 20214 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
August 7, 20214 yr My wallet is in deep hibernation, and def. wont come out for the 737. As for the Fenix A 320 - probably not, the free FbW is more than enough for me, and I rarely fly it anyway. A study level GA turboprop or jet, with modern glass - now, that I might go for. But I doubt that will happen in my lifetime.

I can imagine maybe two updates a year, after the 4th year of MSFS. I fully agree with this also. I additionally believe that around that time the streaming data will be greatly improved - the catch? it will be monthly subscription. August 7, 20214 yr Right now I don't see myself getting either of these. I think I will just settle in with a good GA plane and learn more about flying, navigating, etc. Don't need another AC collecting dust in the hangar, and I already have a lot doing that right now. I think I will not become an airplane collector at this point, and focus on becoming a better pilot. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

Compatible with existing ac and it includes a career mode, advanced ATC, etc. This cow will be milked until most of us are 6 feet under. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
August 7, 20214 yr I'm saving up for a sidestick. My Saitek AV8R is getting on a bit. 9800X3D | 5080 | 32GB | 2TB NVME | Dell Ultrasharp U3415W 34" | 3440 x 1440 60Hz
August 7, 20214 yr I'm really excited about the PMDG 737's arrival to MSFS. I don't have P3D, and was holding out many years for it to arrive on X-Plane. But now it's coming soon for on my new sim I'll definitely get it.

A combat flight simulator makes sense, especially a modern combat flight simulator. They can literally reuse the same photogrammetry/satellite data they have now. They just have to figure out how to make the photogrammetry 3D buildings destructible when it gets hit by a bomb or missile. And of course, another Microsoft train simulator makes sense. Of course they plan to sell the helicopter add-on. And they can sell a glider add-on as well. Microsoft is smart, they will milk MSFS for everything they can get. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Plus they will license the tech for other companies. Imagine DCS with our world? Or open world driving sims. Trains. Ships. August 7, 20214 yr I‘m pretty sure I‘ll get both the Fenix 320 and the PMDG 737. They‘re exactly my type of plane. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2
August 7, 20214 yr Hard to say for me until I see all of the features that both will offer in MSFS. I am enjoying flying the FBW A320NX now, but prefer flying widebody aircraft. I am excited for the FBW A380 and PMGG 777!
