Because you have to press two buttons you don't use this excellent mod? Huh... ok.

Yes I find it a pain and surely quite unnecessary it should be a user option.  But I do note a way to get around this as posted above.

Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

So one successful test flight with the mod and now I get CTDs every time I power on the plane.  😞  Removed it for now to do some testing later.

To make the setting persist edit the .FLT file(s) and look for this section:

[LocalVars.0]
XMLVAR_LANDING_TAXI_OFF_Switch_Position=2
XMLVAR_FuelSelectorAuto=0
XMLVAR_TBM930_FrontDoor_Unlock=1
XMLVAR_TBM930_BackDoor_Unlock=1
XMLVAR_TBM930_FrontDoor_Init=1
XMLVAR_TBM930_BackDoor_Init=0
XMLVAR_TBM930_CargoDoor_Init=0
XMLVAR_TBM930_HidePilot=0
XMLVAR_TBM930_HideCoPilot=0

Change 0 to 1 for the Hidepilot entries. You can also set the door states here too.

Thanks for that! But it's ridiculous that we have to edit like a bunch of files just to disable it. It's only a one time deal, but we'll have to do that each time the author releases an update.

@Little Jenny, without the mod installed, I get CTDs when I switch the battery on.  The sound file  of the power-up glitches and straight to desktop!  Haven't tried a start with the updated mod yet.

Regards.

Mod works perfect. No CTD. Did a 2 hour flight and was great.

works here, too, though lights a pixelated, only happens / seen with this a/c. Only realized it this very time after I landed at ORBX LOWI, did not check other airports yet in case that may be a texture issue

Thanks, but do I have to do this every time or does it save the settings?

Every time  a 0,25 second mouse movement and 1 click. I didnt know it took that long....

I just had a CTD in my time management module.

Guys, a bit off topic: How is the engine behavior in msfs for turboprops now? Is it better? Since launch i just stayed away of any turboprop due to the really bad implementation.

Is it realistic now?

I'm seeing this pixelated light reflection on the Just Flight Turbo Arrow as well. In default scenery.

I've seen this too a couple times with different aircraft, but haven't seen it in the last few days.

What's so wrong with the stock TBM?  I fly it all the time without any problems

You must be new to MSFS.
