SDK UPDATE

• General
  • The team is on vacation this week.

 

3RD PARTY UPDATE

• As of 08/08, we have now approved 205 (+0) third parties into the in-sim marketplace and – so far 115 (+0) have released 511 products on PC (+0) and 64 on Xbox (+0).
• In total, 1,224 products (+12) have already been released in 3rd party stores and the in-sim marketplace. Beyond that, another 367 products (+2) from 3rd party developers are in production (233 announced, 134 unannounced). In total, over 1,591 3rd party products (+14) are either released or are in development.
• Airports:
  • 1005 airports (+12) are either released or are in various stages of development.
    • 783 airports (+9) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
    • 407 airports (+0) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
    • 111 airports (+3) beyond the released airports have been announced.
    • 111 airports (+0) are not announced, but the dev let us know that an airport is in production.
• Aircraft:
  • 190 aircraft (+0) are either released or are in various stages of development.
    • 58 aircraft (+0) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
    • 35 aircraft (+0) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
    • 109 aircraft (+0) beyond the released aircraft have been announced.
    • 23 aircraft (+0) are not announced, but the dev let us know that an aircraft is in production.
• Scenery:
  • 357 sceneries (+2) are either released or are in various stages of development.
    • 344 sceneries (+3) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
    • 34 sceneries (+0) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
    • 13 sceneries (-1) beyond the released scenery have been announced.
• Mission Packs:
  • 39 mission packs (+0) are either released or are in various stages of development.
    • 39 mission packs (+0) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
    • 4 mission packs (+0) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
    • 0 mission packs (+0) beyond the released missions have been announced.

 

MARKETPLACE UPDATES

There is no Marketplace release for August 12 due to technical issues. Teams are working on a resolution, and an update will be provided once available.

I hope Italy is the next world update after Switzerland.  Italy seemed to have the most votes.

Is it me or those screenshots look blurry than we are a custom to seeing in the past - also what actually are they going to fix in next update not seeing much info here on confirmed issues to be fixed

They really do look blocky and awful.  I thought it may have been due to compression putting them on an avsim post, but they look just as bad on the official site.

i wonder if the problem with the market place is the reason the crj never got a update this week as the update was ready last week, and in the past they like to update the marketplace at the same time as ASupdater

word not allowed, thought the Carenado Mooney would be flyable today, looks like we'll have to wait.

Yes the reason the update wasn’t released is because of the marketplace bug.

From Hans Hartmann:

1) Yes, there have been three other issues that were found during the testing at Microsoft. Two in the CRJ, which have been there since day 1, but never showed until Sim Update 5 (dark instruments after loading and HUD constantly flipped down) and one in the Marketplace ingestion process which wasn't directly related to the CRJ, but caused a delay anyway.

2) Everything has been fixed and as of 18:47 CEST yesterday evening, the ingestion process has been completed and the CRJ was sent to Microsoft's testing team.

 

When it will be available? I don't know. Will Microsoft find another issue that needs fixing first? I don't know.

I will have to wait - just like you.

Seems like some items to be addressed have moved from SU4, SU5; to SU5, SU6; to now SU6 and SU7.  Some critical items are still "not planned".  Are 2021 items locked in?

The update is still at least another 11 days out if it doesn't get delayed. They don't normally tells us fixes until that day.

Those of us who didn't buy the CRJ from the market place are now prisoners to the market place.. Seems right!... Not
