August 30, 20214 yr Confirmed by the team on the official forums as well: Hello everyone, the team is aware of the issue impacting Bing data streaming on the sim. We are currently investigating. Thank you for your patience. Edited August 30, 20214 yr by DylanM
August 30, 20214 yr Such a shame that people still resort to fully reinstalling MSFS and even Windows to try to fix issues such as this. A bit anti-clever, but I still see it so often. It just shows the desperation. I would have thought a few minutes reading the forums and having some patience for the investigation and fix would be the better option. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. August 31, 20214 yr @bobcat999 I assume youre referring to me. Fyi i spent several hours searching and posting on the msfs forum and searching google for fixes on this (this was just before asobo have said this is a known issue and theyre looking into it), tried all the suggestions, logged a support ticket with zendesk who gave me several things to try, nothing worked. So im sat with a £120 useless game and my only hope at that point was zendesk and their delayed email replies which just echoed what i'd already found through searches. So yeah i was pro active and didnt want to wait so i tried reinstalling windows, something ive done many times so it was no real bother. And it worked. So something about reinstallation done it. Some file or registry setting got reset. Edited August 31, 20214 yr by tyke1
