FEATURED FREEWARE MOD The MSFS Mobile Companion App is a powerful addon that turns almost any second screen you have available (such as a tablet, smartphone, or laptop) into an additional control panel and information hub for Microsoft Flight Simulator. From the Companion App, you can easily set the frequency of your NAV/COMM radios, follow your plane’s location with a moving map, configure your autopilot settings, control your plane’s lights and pitot heat, and more! Thanks to community member mracko for making this extremely valuable addon completely free to MSFS pilots! November 5, 20214 yr It would have been nice to read more on the cancelled SU7 beta and the actual state of the latter, beyond they're working hard on it, which anyone expects. During the last Twitch Q&A, Sebastian seems to have completely misunderstood why some people wanted this . So I wouldn't be surprised if we get this slider, but only to reduce draw distance! His words were roughly ' you have adjustment already. You can select low, medium, high, or ultra, but I can change it to a slider if you want'. They just don't seem to get it. Did they ever see the tree mod? I think they did, and didn't like it for some reason, as the very next update made it non-functional. All very strange, particularly as I had no detectable performance impact, and that was when running on an old 1080Ti at the time. Most people that installed it loved it as it covered up the sometimes barren and muddy landscape in the middle to far distance. Whereas some people didn't like others talking about its very existence and other people liking it, or even people like me talking about the tree mods demise, almost as if it was an affront to them - or as if they were paying for it! Just no understanding some people! Edited November 5, 20214 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
