That is fine. I gave you a suggestion as to what works, so you don't have to click 1,200 times to get all packages installed. Have a good day! 🙂

What suggestion?

Is it necessary to install the GA flight plans too? I only installed the AIRLINE ones.

You can but you won't see any flights as there's no GA planes converted for MSFS use yet.

You've mentioned you've been clicking away for hours, so I suggested using the OCI-Bulk function.

I have but it doesn't install any of the major airlines? I'm stumped.

Mine takes ages to load as well and I didn't choose the slow option (I have 32gb RAM so no need). But not hours, just a fair few minutes.

Thanks Marc - restarted it this morning (after letting it run all night) and it loaded successfully after about 15 minutes. Must have just been a hiccup. Running the "verify setup" and noticed it's downloading a few more packages now.

Could you please elaborate on what that means? Do you not see these in the simulator, or you do not see these in the Manager's interface after download? I am willing to help, but you need to provide some more details so I can understand how far in the process you currently are. You are very welcome to send me a DM too, I am already helping a few users directly with this setup and getting things going.

@Drumcode Just curious, but it is loading the airlines and it's still in the "A"s after 3 hours! However, I noticed that the installation has stopped a few times because it wants to download from the web, and then you get to install whatever it is manually. Afterwards in continues as normal, until another download is required.

If I left this running all night, I'm going to be frustrated that I wasted 8 hours waiting for me to act on it. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Martin

I did all ~1200 airlines / flightplans and it is about 25.7GB.

One issue I have found is that restarting AI Manager is taking hours - stuck on this screen (not sure if it's a bug, or normal because I had selected "slow" mode when prompted)

Mine got stuck on the "Load OCI Data" screen as well. After checking Task Manager and finding no disk or network activity and next to no CPU or GPU activity, I killed it and started it again. That time it started *much* more quickly. Just a glitch I think.

If you are running this through the night (and others too) my strong recommendation is to select the checkbox of 'Skip manual download.' This way the installation will not stop and wait for user's action to manually download the model or repaint. Did this last night, worked beautifully.

Yup and it only leaves around 30 files to manually do afterwards too.

Beside the OCI-Bulk button is a checkbox for skip manual downloads (or something like that). Make sure it is checked before pressing the OCI-Bulk button.

Once it has gone through everything you selected, you can go back and select the ones it skipped and install those, doing the manual bit as needed.

I installed everything doing it that way, and it skipped 87 packages. I did the individual install for the first 6 of those 87, then reselected the rest and did the bulk install with skip again (because many of the remaining packages were looking for the same model/repaint that the first 6 wanted). That left me with just 5 that it skipped. Finished those off one at a time.

It should be noted that the ones that require manual intervention are because the site that AIG Manager is using to download that specific model/repaint does not allow scripted downloads from the program itself. They have to be done via a browser. If those downloads were available elsewhere without having to use the browser, I'm sure AIG would have used them.

Use task manager to end the process. Start it again and carry on.

It got to the end and there was 375 not installed. I re-ran the installation and they are still there. How do I get them installed?

Thanks
