Whether it was you or AI Manager that deleted it, it should be in your Recycle Bin.

I checked,  it wasn't.    

Then I decided to click repair in "add / remove programs",  and it didn't repair it.   So I clicked "reset".   /Which reverted MSFS to it's initial install state,  without any sim and world updates,  and deleted my community folder.

I'm not gonna lie,  it made me catch negative feelings about AVsim Library and AIG whether it's rational or not.

in the viideo (thanx for that) you said roud about 100 GB when selecting all flightplans. I selected all and my folder with the sim objects is round about 24 GB ?!

Good tutorial video and easy to understand your english. I had no ai traffic at all when I first tried it and after reading a few pages in this thread (page 11 post by nimic) pointed me to aig forums and the issue I had. Going in to traffic aig_TrafficController\Resources and removing the zip file(s) located there and it just fixed it. All the rest I did was from your video.

would love to see some retro traffic like from the 90's around the last year of kai tak

By following the video, I was able to launch AIM and AIGTC successfully.
Tried populating VHHH and RJTT with very good results.

Thank you Bad_T and of course AIG team.

But I have a stupid question.
Is it possible to turn on the aircraft labels and also show the departure and arrival airport IATA codes,  like MSFS does,  for the Ai aircrafts?

 

Do I need to restart AIGTC after each flight or just before my first flight?

My thoughts so far are that the addon is great for major airports but not so good for regional airports as many of the smaller aircraft models don't yet seem to be available. I'm currently flying around the Caribbean and the only aircraft I can find is an Air France A320 parked at TFFR.  None of the Caribbean airlines seem to be represented yet.

 

UPDATE:  The Airbus has taken off! 😃

for realtime AI traffic the Traffic Controller is not needed. Is it correct that starting at an airport that there are no planes on the ground?

As far as i am aware you don't need to restart it.

Using the real time traffic in MSFS, generally you don't tend to find a lot of aircraft on the ground. It pulls info from flightaware and if you watch the website, for many flights the aircraft stops showing up when its on the ground so, that is correct.

HELP PLEASE

Well this is embarrassing, I watched the video then downloaded the software, then started watching it again and pausing where necessary but cannot even get past the initial AI-Manager installation page (red face). A little box opens up inviting me to "Select FS Version" but the box is empty, so I just click OK and after a few seconds the AI-Manager panel disappears never to be seen again.

Am I having a senior moment or can anybody advise me what to do please?

I tried TFFR and had pretty much the same result..  1 Air France then i changed the time to later in the day and there were 2 Air France.   

Then tested Princess Juliana.. Over the day i saw American, Delta, Jet Blue, Westjet and DHL but no local Caribbean airlines. Looks like they're not in yet unfortunately.

I stuck in AI Manager setup "Loading Configuration Files" window at the beginning and it is waiting there for ever. Could not reach he app UI , yet.

Is there any suggestion to move forward ? Thanks.

If it has been more than 10 or 15 minutes, use task manager to end the process. Then start it again. It seems to occasionally get hung up.

I have done as you described, many times. Something is preventing to go forward.
