FPS fine here though vsync'ed at 30 fps anyway. however, AP is more sensitive, AP was disconnected 4 to 5 times while enroute from ENVA to EKCH at FL320. No idea why, no floor protection, just FYI, not familiar with discord but I trust this is being reported "over there" and will be addressed by FBW in due time

I don't know if it will work for you, but I used to get frequent AP disconnects. Then I read somewhere that putting a small deadzone into the sensitivity allows the stick to move slightly in turbulence or whatever, but won't disconnect. I added 2% as a start and it worked for me.

I was able to have the Cockpit Refresh Rate at HIGH with 60 FPS.  Now even with LOW refresh rate 40-45 FPS.

To ask the obvious:  have you checked to make sure you're running DX11?

thanks, checked that already and had some 12% deadzone set, added 3 more and will see; disconnects indeed happend yesterday in high and possibly shifting winds across Denmark. will check again today

Eight hours and one minute after leaving JFK I touched down at LGW.  RW realistic for this airline and aircraft combination, perhaps not- but for me this was a first.  It has been a long time since I enjoyed a non-stop Trans-Atlantic trip in the FLs, and Fifi did it splendidly in MSFS.  There are shortcomings in the sim, no doubt.  There's still much work remaining for a full featured A320 simulation, no doubt.  That said, FBW provided me one of the very best freeware flight experiences ever and I was glad enough about the Trans-Atlantic to express thanks.

Just one of the many delights during the crossing was to be distracted by the reflection of two perfectly readable MCDU screens in the windscreen glass… so completely understandable and authentic it was startling!

I miss my PMDG Boeings in MSFS (for the moment) and am very much looking forward to Fenix's debut, but for right now FBW is doing STELLAR and altruistic work and should be recognized for it. BZ!

Realistic not far from it. British airways did operate a  A318 for a while from London city airport to JFK granted it did have a pit stop on the way their. I believe JetBlue also did/do a service in a 321N from JFK to Heathrow.  Not American Airlines but not far

Still to do a transatlantic flight in all my years simming.

Paul-

I’ve studied that operation in detail, and that was exactly what prompted this flight… but the airframe and airline were different in my case. Also I used Gatwick instead of City without the fuel stop at  Shannon. Also I used an A320 Neo instead of a 318 with steep approach package… but all the charm remained intact 🙂

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a MINT in sight 😉

Our latest NOTAM is centered around our recently released custom flight management system for the development version. It provides some insight into our decisions regarding features included and those temporarily disabled.

I tried the custom FMS last night .. It worked a treat .. but having the terrain and wx inop is making me think real hard about rolling back to stable. Everything that annoys others like the flyback bug and not being able to modify fully the sids/stars i have mastered the workarounds so it doesn't bother me in the least. However, Not having terrain radar and landing in the night in IFR conditions at an airport like Sarajevo is where i miss having some visual reference. Also the ATC interaction is kinda strange vs where i have completely mastered how to interact with atc in the "now stable" build . I dunno maybe i have gotten used to all the quirks. Probably will roll back to stable till the Exp... now  Dev version cooks a little more.

You can join their discord, ask there that you can help with pull requests testing and FBW folks will gladly onboard you for testing, especially if you are familiar with the feature.

in case FBW team wants to know how robust the A320 AP is during RNP AR operations.

The FTE (flight technical error) budget of 0.2nm was exceeded in the real A320 simulator only when these exaggerated winds were added at 3000ft. Pretty remarkable.
