The plural of craft is crafts, but the plural of aircraft is aircraft... I envy no one who learns English as an adult.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Not to mention "craftsman" vs. "craftsmen"

Of more concern to me are people who learned English from day zero and still write or say "aircrafts".

Always been a particular bugbear of mine, I can understand non english speakers saying "aircrafts". English is a very strange language, to say the least. I mean you have sheep, but not "sheeps". lamb, and "lambs", etc.

Actually, if you’re referring to “arts and crafts” then true.

But if referring to boats, ships, etc…it’s craft. “Look at all the craft off the coast.”

Ok, I'm not losing it then

Agree the strange subtleties of English tend to be a bit painful for Europeans at times.  Not the highest priority for SU7 hotfix  🙂
