The Kodiak, no doubt about it.  I don't own the Twin Otter due to so many negative comments.  The only comments you will see for the Kodiak are positive.  Certainly one of my favourite aircraft.

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Something about the Otter overall for me in VR.

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

I like them both

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

I have both, and the Kodiak edges it for me.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Being a twin, 2000fpm climb and floats / skis does it for me.

I fly the Twiotter most. I have both.

They are both great but  I like steam gauges. And in a way the Otter is more challenging being bigger and more complex.

I have not flown the Kodiak since I got the Otter.

Right now though I am having a blast in the Jungmann.

I like all kinds of planes. And go through phases of different planes.

Tomorrow I will fly the Twiotter again, some IFR after all the low and slow with the Jungmann. I am sure I will fly the Kodiak again at some point, but for now that type of flying is most fun in the Otter for me at least.

The Kodiak flies like a real aircraft.

Don't have the twotter in this sim had it in p3d v4.

I prefer the kodiak - the g1000 NXi is far more capable of rnav (gps) than the GNS 530.  And it's a lot faster...  You're doing 160-170 ktas or so instead of 140ish

Stallone could beat Van Dam, Bruce Lee, Steven Segal, Bruce Willis all at once.  Heck he took on the Washington State and Seattle Police. Back to OP I don't  think plane A or Plane B wins in a big margin however one wins in a landslide with the developers attitude.

yep, better in term of visuals and handles more realistically

seriously, tricky question for me since I do not own the Kodiak. But like the twotter. Visuals are top notch for me. I wanted a twin engine. And I prefer the basic AP functionality over the glass cockpit of the kodiac which I wouldnt be able to handle. but that's me, even in the twotter I cannot edit the flightplan in the plane, always need to load it via MSFS ;-), I can just handle MCDUs und FMS 🙂

some visuals from my most recent flights

i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

When I see this question, I always encourage consideration of the Milviz Porter as well.  It's slower than the Kodiak in cruise (comparable to the Twotter) but beats anything in short field performance.  And, it flies more like an airplane - out of the box, without control sensitivity tuning - than anything I've flown yet in MSFS (ok,  the DC-6 is up there too.)  Might be worth a look.
