April 2, 20224 yr They moved all the generic airports to a new folder (fs-base-genericairports), so they all show up as custom airports on LNM now. The creator is going to have to do an update to exclude that folder. Edited April 2, 20224 yr by Tuskin38

That's correct, *some* Simconnect programs do work. I use FS-FlightControls networked via Simconnect which works as well. As soon as I start SPAD.neXt (networked as well) the beta crases. April 2, 20224 yr They seem to have added new dams to the US, they're not mentioned in the SU9 patch notes at all, and none of these are in the USA World Update notes. I don't know if maybe these dams were in the base sim and I just missed them, but the folder they're stored in was created today with the SU9 beta. Edited April 2, 20224 yr by Tuskin38
April 2, 20224 yr So far it looks like TrackIR 5, AIG Traffic, NeoFly, SimShaker for Aviators, the PMS GNS530, and PMS GTN750 appear to be working for me. I removed all the aircraft mods from community just in case, but left all the liveries, scenery, scenery mods, lighting mods, and sound mods alone. Spad.Next causes instant CTD, as everyone has noted. I'm hearing reports that Axes and Ohs works though. I had the SDK installed, and SimConnect-FSX_SP2 version. Tonight I uninstalled SimConnect-FSX_SP2 but it didn't fix the Spad.next crashes. I did find out that I didn't need it for the apps listed above anyway, since the SDK does install a simconnect.dll when you install it. Totally do not feel like porting my controls to Axes and Ohs.
April 2, 20224 yr Another new handcrafted airport included in the SU9 beta, not mentioned in the patch notes. NAS Fallon, where TOPGUN is. Did Asobo accidentally include it in the files? I feel like this is something that would have come in May with the free Top Gun DLC. It doesn't have a star on the world map. I only noticed it looking through the files. Edit: And another one, KXMR. It's as if the early build turbulence problems have returned, because I was all over the place with light winds selected and no gusts. Hope this was an anomaly, more flights to come of course. Vanilla install, community folder empty, no other market place add ons and everything in sim updated. Same settings as SU7 which was really smooth. I have reported it to Microsoft on your link. Default airbus at egll 09R. Taking off at around 80kts the stutters start with the rotating white circle and continue until I'm about 500ft in the air. If I'm taxiing around I get a stutter every few seconds. This happens with or with photogrammetry on. I get the same results from low-end settings right through to ultra. If I select dev mode, the stutters stop but this also stops any hours or achievements being logged too. I'm pretty sure it is not my system specs as SU7 ran beautifully on the same settings.
