April 1, 20224 yr ATC responds as before the patch. Less intrusive chatter, but they respond to anything I send them. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
April 1, 20224 yr just spent an hour with SU9 C172 seems to rock back and forth while in light-moderate turbulence...like a dutch roll or something. Clouds seems much better. Seems like better thickness/density.
April 1, 20224 yr quick test flight with the co pilot flying. No Issues with performance. TBM mod bugged out but flew. Starter inop, hide yoke inop. Not looking forward to trying an operated flight tomorrow as most of my controls are specially mapped by Axis and OHS, if it is bugging simconnect in fsuipc and spad I will expect the same. The red tree draw distance debugger works in dev mode. Explains how the terrain lod and tree settings interact.

It's clear VR means very little to them, otherwise it would'nt have taken such a massive regression since SU5, the very fact that SU7 existing VR bugs have not been addressed in this SU9 beta speaks volumes. I love the Sim, I detest the managers, they need removing, this team needs new blood to take forward. i am so glad you are not on that team !!!

That and quite a few of us using VR arent bothered to distraction by the minor issues. The sim still rocks in VR imo. It can always be better but I personally dont see it as a five alarm fire. Fix the other stuff first.

It's as if the early build turbulence problems have returned, because I was all over the place with light winds selected and no gusts. Hope this was an anomaly, more flights to come of course. Ken

April 1, 20224 yr Was the Isabella Dam in the USA already in the sim? I double checked the patch notes and the USA World Update patch notes, it's not there. Windows says the files were created today when I updated to SU9, But I don't know if they just moved it to another folder or what Maybe I'm going crazy Edited April 2, 20224 yr by Tuskin38
