Has anyone tried this in VR yet? Anything worth mentioning on that front?

I would love to try VR in this sim!  I need a new video card and a VR headset.

Which panel are you using?  I've flown an ILS with every panel so far except PMS GTN as I don't use that one.  Is it not working for you?

This may be an obsolete response by now but yes, I was using the PMS GTN. My workaround was to turn off the flight director (which was giving false indications) and hand fly the approach using raw data.

Also, I have yet to see the autopilot capture an RNAV glide path either.

Hopefully, the new version made available today remedies these problems.

Anyone know how to fix the zoomed in cockpit view? When I start its very zoomed into the panel... don't have to adjust zoom for any other plane except this one.

I don't think you mean zoom, rather the cameras position in the cockpit? Pressing alt + up/down arrow will move your position in the cockpit.

Nope it was very much the zoom. Now that I copied the Kodiaks default zoom setting into the 414 under the Cameradef.0 its all looking normal again.

Hmmm.  I'm flying the PMS GTN750 version as well and have had the A/P follow both an ILS as well as an RNAV approach in the last few days (prior to today's update).  For reference this was for RWY 7 at KSBA.  The only unusual thing I noticed was that the localizer was offset to the left side of the runway. but that may have been related to the Orbx KSBA scenery I use.

I tried this today with an RNAV approach into Orlando...I could not capture the glide slope. However, I may not know the correct steps when using the PMS750...

Any chance you would describe the steps as I'd like to try again...

There is only one zoom setting that is correct for your seating position and monitor size so I assumed you were talking about the camera position.  If you change the zoom for each aircraft, your Field Of View will be incorrect in the majority of your aircraft.  Set the FOV (zoom) once then move the camera position for each aircraft.

Yeah thats exactly what I do, however the 414 and FBW320 were zoomed more than usual. I don't tinker with the CFG files but after I installed my tackIR some aircraft views got messed up. I usually just set my zoom level through the settings and adjust my "seat" using the key bindings. Thanks anyway! All sorted now.

Is it just me or does the latest update mess with the mixture controls? They seem to have no effect until they're at cutoff.

By design. Discussed in this forum in a thread all about mixture I believe.

Ok, I thought that might be the case! It's just odd not seeing the EGT in the green. Then again, I am only at 9,000 on this little flight.

The first thing I did was to change InitialZoom from 0.203053 to 0.305053. It was a bizarre choice of default camera position I think and I was expecting it to be changed in this first patch.

It's fine in VR 🙂

I only fly the old 530 cockpits though...

Just got email to say 1.3 beta available, no time to download though...flying 1.2HF right now.

Apparently v1.3 corrects a problem with ILS approaches that v1.2 had inadvertently caused.
