The united states isn't the center of the world nor English is the de facto language of the human race

Actually, believe it or not, English IS the official language of both the U.S. as well as the FAA and global aviation in general. But that's NOT the point.

If you're choosing to do business where the vast majority of your customers are English speaking/reading and you are communicating to them then yea I expect reasonable English from that business. Call me old fashioned, or disagree with me but I couldn't care less. If I choose to do business in a country where the official language is Spanish then you better believe I'd make sure I could effectively communicate there.

Besides, I didn't see the written instructions in question as a language barrier issue, tbh...I saw it as pure laziness and nothing else since the owner speaks and understand our language just fine and even if he didn't write the memo himself there is something called spell and grammar checks, which obviously were not used before sending it out.

As a paying customer I don't want to squint my eyes after reading instructions and think to myself "offensive initials not allowed?" after reading a memo regarding a product I just purchased, and then have to take the time to re-read it a couple more times to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something. it just annoys me, that's all.

Didn't realize a federal case would be made over such an obvious oversite. but then again, I'm not at all surprised either 🙂

Accountability is a lost art nowadays. No one takes first, everyone gets a pass and a consolation prize.  I own this aircraft and I love it, bugs, warts and all but I did NOT like the goofy email I got concerning the product and product updates

My 2 cents  YMMV  TANSTAAFL

I'm not able to hide the EFB

To pop up the EFB you click on the glass on the top part of the pilot's small triangular window. I find however, depending on the angle at which I'm "looking" at the triangular window clicking on the window frame works (such as when much of the window's glass is not visible).

To hide the EFB you click on the EFB's "camera" lens on the top boarder of the EFB.

The button at the bottom of the EFB turns it on and off.

BTW, the EFB currently does not have a charger/USB connection available (I'm told that will show up eventually) and so the EFB's internal battery will only last about 4 hours.

There's no patch yet.  It was more of a status update.  Should be soonish.

There was a patch, its at 1.01 now, higher than the first vers i downloaded.

Who cares if the email doesn't sound perfect. What's next? Should ask FlySimWare to write a proper email in APA format with all sources cited? 😁

Love this plane and I am sad I can't experience the update. Windows 11....well after reverting back to Windows 10 completely thrashed my install and even some core mods.

Boo.

That's good to hear. After a few bouts of Island hopping my tablet died. I ended up restarting the sim but still...a really cool feature to have a charger.

Current version is Beta 1.1.0 which you can verify by looking in Programs and Features in the Windows10 Control Panel, or by looking at the name of the installer file. There is a typo in the manifest.json file so the ver # listed there is not correct.

I agree. Once I corrected the cockpit view and took her out my jaw hit the floor. It's well worth the money.

Hi, I'm about to buy the tds gtnxi 750, heard somebody reporting fps drop in the C 414. Any advice?

Thanks
