Does that mean it’s automatically enabled or do I have to do something to enable automixture?

It' enabled by default now. No need to touch the mixtures other than to start and shut down the engines.

Out of all comprises I'd rather have manual mixture enabled. Or at least have an option to manually operate it.

Two points we need to remember..... This is a Beta, and MS/Asobo are responsible for fixing the mixture setting.

With the latest update:

1) Main door LOD in external view is still broken. The door looks shut when you zoom out a little. In VR it looks always shut even though it's open when viewed from inside.

2) Tooltip on the storm windows are incorrectly labelled.

Can someone please confirm?

Well the lovely Mrs. Stoopy came home for lunch and brought me a scratcher for my birthday, and I won $50 smackers so I broke down and bought the TDS GTNxi.  Today is the last day of the sale price BTW.  One difference I noticed is that the two units in the panel don't seem to communicate with each other like the PMS 750, so I had to load and activate the same approach on both if I wanted to have the map display on one and the flight plan on the other (and the second TDS GTNxi does not, apparently, talk to the Garmin 605 Autopilot either).

But man, I see the light with these units.  Just did the same RNAV approach for RWY 7 at KSBA and this plane is AWESOME now, and it's only going to get better!

Just curious, but given the diverse capabilities of the free version, what more does the payware version provide?

I too just bought the TDS GTNxi. What kind of performance do you get?

I followed all the installation suggestions; ie. Made sure HAGS  and Game mode disabled, I created exception from virus software.

Despite this the performance drop is so bad I am unable to use them. I am instead using the PMS 750.

Pretty sure you can by changing the relevant line in the config files.

The devs claim that a turbo charger in a sense works a bit like auto-mixture by normalising the manifold pressure so auto-mixture is actually more realistic.

I look at config files but couldn't figure out what option to change. As I said I understand the compromise, but it would be great if I could activate manual mixture either via option of file editing

Is this the TDS, PMS or classic (GNS530) panel?

If TDS or PMS panel, I'd recommend first selecting an altitude below the HSI, then arming it (tiny white circle immediately to the right).  The press FD on the AP panel.  Then press VS and change it with the wheel.  Then press AP after trimming the plane to engage AP.

If it's classic panel... it may have changed.  But it used to be ARM altitude in selector, press ALT on AP panel, then use the thumb wheel to control pitch.  Don't forget to actually turn on the AP master rocker switch to the right of the thumb wheel.

Hi Ryan. Standard classic 530. I’m not spending any more for the gtn  till this beta is more functional. I’m hoping it is not too far down the road. Sort of hoping this 414 will be the beech Duke for msfs eventually.

I had the exact same issue Romeo_Tango.   On the TDS GTNxi forum there is a sticky on low frame issues.

http://www.forum.tdssim.com/thread-210.html

You have to add a couple exceptions to windows defender and turn off GPU hardware scheduling.

I followed the steps there rebooted and magically my frames became playable.   Its a great aircraft made even better by the TDS GTNxi.

Note you probably still get a frame drop if you use popout windows.
