As I said, one approach into 01L at KTPA was great, the other, not so great. I haven't figured out why -- I came into glidepath intercept from below, at 2000 ft as you have done, for both landings. I thought I came in at about the same speed, but it could be I got too slow on my second landing, and that caused it to drop below glidepath. Once locked into the glidepath on that RNAV/LPV approach, I notice even very slight throttle adjustments can wildly affect the nose-up/nose-down behavior. My thinking is that this should instead affect vertical speed, and not so much nose-up/nose-down behavior. I agree, this needs further fine-tuning... At present, MSFS does not natively allow a third party GPS to control vertical descent, so FSW has to work around that... but Asobo has committed to delivering that capability in a future SU.. Bert

If anyone runs into this with theTDS GTN and 1.4.2., I can include the 1.4.0. autopilot code in my GTN mod as an interim fix. yes, it would be appreciated! I have deleted version 1.4.0

April 9, 20224 yr Beta 1.4.3 Hotfix 1. Holes in the cabin causing to see outside are now fixed. 2. Magneto bar now animates forward. 3. Autopilot updated. Tested and fully working. The GTN750XI TDS has an update coming out tomorrow as we tested this version with his code and made some changes. So until tomorrow there could be a flooding issue when flying a LPV approach in GPS mode. But i think this will be fine even using the current version. Our code we can finally say is rock solid so please enjoy! NOTE: Last update the GNS530 got the wrong template assigned for the alerter so it could not capture selected altitude. This is now fixed.

It wasn't the case with first version. Also rigth after touchdown, the airplane is uncontrolable rudder wise. Do you guys experience something similar ? Thanks for your help. Souheil As suggested elsewhere, enable autorudder. The aircraft now behaves as a real aircraft should in the takeoff roll.
April 10, 20224 yr Apologies if already covered. I was thinking of giving the SU9 Beta a go, but really enjoying flying the 414 atm. Is it currently compatible?

So it is recommended to use auto mixture and auto rudder? Where is the fun in that? 🙂 // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

I have been using it quite a bit in SU9 Beta with no issues to report. As long as you know there is the posssability of having to re-install the sim if you have it installed in the default location. To me it seems to be shaking around a bit unrealistically in SU9 which I have just installed. Seems like the lack of inertia has a worse consequence with this beta. Or rather the plane seems to have no weight when it comes to turbulence and unstable air and gets blown about like a feather? It's certainly different to before I installed SU9 beta. Otherwise it's fine. Edited April 10, 20224 yr by jarmstro
