Just downloaded the latest version thinking maybe something had been updated in the last 24 hours...

Still broken for me.

Currently, the Nxi v0.11.0 cannot communicate any more with the GTN750 because Working Title has changed the way to synchronize instruments and the new way doesn't work with the toolbar panels. We made a patch (as a package) for the G1000 Nxi 0.11.0 that fixes this issue. The patch restores the old sync mechanism without changing the new 0.11.0 features. Just install it in the community folder (only if your are using the G1000Nxi). DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE IT WHEN THE NEXT WT G1000 NXI IS AVAILABLE.

Cant shut the engines down after 1.4. Props just keep spinning.

edit - next flight and I can. That was weird.

OK I can shut them down as long as I don't take off. If I take off, do a circuit and land, the props just keep spinning.

1.4 update is out. Changelog below if you are wondering.

3. Autopilot updated and tested for GPS/LOC approaches. But modes also updated and much much more. More to come!!!

5. Fuel flows are now accurate.

17. The HSI compass card was reported that the needle was not centered. The needle was accurate but sitting to far above from the card giving an illusion that the needle was miss aligned. Fixed.

19. Lowered volume for ground roll and GPU sounds. Fixed the skip in the ineterior high rpm loop sound.

I do hope the TDS will now not only lock onto the LOC but capture and fly the GS.

Also HDG on AP works?

Was going to DL but seems better to wait now for the HF version.

The Ground roll was silly, glad thats now fixed.

It a shame to call out things that might put people of buying the aircraft as its really good as it is, just needs some polish. Better than most finished aircraft let alone this being a beta.

I was about to purchase this.

Do I D/L 1.4.0 plus HF 1.4.1, or does HF 1.4.1 include everything?

Thanks

My understanding is the latest update should include everything.

Probably me but fuel burn is ridiculous with the latest beta? In fact the fuel system is borked. I need to reinstall I think.

What ver of the plane are you using?  With the TDS GTN ver I can shut the engines off by turning off the mags, but not with the mixture -- maybe because the mixture axis is set to auto-mixture?

1.4.1 now, 1.4 this morning. Same for both. Like you I can not shut down using mixture controls but only after a flight. I can before taking off. My mags are mapped to a switch on my throttle quadrant which doesn't work for the 414 (same for the button mapped to autopilot).

12 hours or so on the Hobbs meter now throughout the various versions.

Crosswind capability greatly improved / fixed in version 1.4.1 hotfix.

She easily handles 16kt crosswinds- the real aircraft has a demonstrated crosswind capability of about 18-20kts

Stall behavior also greatly improved with the aircraft now correctly dropping the left or right wing depending on relative wind.

Stall recovery behavior is excellent.

Prop RPM can still run away on you with application of full power from idle (I'm testing this on go arounds on final right before touchdown).

Overall, the aircraft is just superb and it will go down as one of the, if not the finest piston twins ever for any version of flight simulator.

To quote Bert Pieke, " the aircraft has personality" which she does in spades.

I feel as though I own, and have an true affection for the aircraft- it's not one of those you fly a few times and then move on to something else.

I wasn't sure the chancellor would be my jam but I think it is now my go to GA (and I fly mostly GA). My uncertainty didn't have to do with FSW because they are one of the few developers I will insta-buy a plane from but rather because I am not a huge twin engine fan. I had the milviz 310 in FSX and while it was a solid plane I did not fly it much (I defaulted to the single engine A2A Comanche) but the Chancellor is tons of fun and I will be seeing a lot of the world from behind its controls. Now if they would just update the Mu-2b for MSFS I would be really close to a full hangar.

I flew the Flight 1 Cessna 441 Conquest II in FSX / P3D for years so I get it.

Last night, using the 1.4 hofixed build, the aircraft was able to capture and fly an ILS using the TDS 750 for me.

Now, it DID track too low on the GS, and I ended up having to flip off the AP and hand-fly the rest of the way in, but I'd do that anyway.  However, it was tracking low well before I'd do that if I were in the soup.  It could have been the airport I was flying into...a modded Chihuahua airport in Mexico (MUCH I believe...).

I'll need to test it on a default/unmodded (or known-good) airport.  You just never know how these glideslopes are oriented with add-on makers.  Not that I necessarily think they messed up, but, I've seen too many misplaced GS's and localizers on scenery over the years.
