Upgrading now will entitle you to a free update in the future with no extra cost when the FSRealistic Pro version price will stable at 34.99$. Timeline FSRealistic Pro will be released to the stores by tomorrow, please note - it might take a couple of days before it will be available in the specific store you bought Core from. FSRealistic Core will be removed from the stores, but we will continue to support it if any issues arise. Buy it if you want to pay the $5.99 - or don't if you think it is a rip-off.  Simple as that.
They have already said they will support the old version for people who have it - for how long, who knows?  But everything has a limited lifespan.

Here in  the US there states where people are paying more than that for a gallon of gas.

You should be happy that you do not have to pay what we do in Sweden for a gallon of gas ($9,49)

Guys get over this useless drama :D. For 5,99$ upgrade price is really no brainer and those developers are known to be good at what they do from XPRealstic. 

 

So did I get this correctly? They are asking real dollars for an upgrade that basically only adds camera shake, breathing sound, front tire touchdown sound, some tweaks and fixes?

Am I missing somthing? That’s a scam, right?

Call it what you like, but for me the update is well worth $ 5.99.

This sounds like a cool update, however I am a bit disappointed that the ability to minimise this app to the System Tray has not been added with this update. 

For those with the upgrade pricing, sounds like a good value little gimmick to add in. At least for me I'm satisfied with the current camera setup and am not really looking for much more. There's no features here that blow me away for $40AU so I'll just hold on for now 🙂

Cool to see the sim getting new types of addons though.

Some people really love getting abused, but as I said, each to their own...

More important than an effect utility is that the sdk now allows some control of the camera. 
I find the current system quite cumbersome and in desperate need of a chaseplane-like addon which will allow one to access all the views using a simple 4 way hat switch.

To the Core buyers feeling "ripped off" ... a gallon of gas gets me a few miles down the road and it's gone.  This gets me hundreds of hours of added immersion on every sim flight I take... I'M IN 👍 🛩️

What about supporting the developer? Does that count at all?

Keep in mind that depending on the seller, the dev might be losing 30% of that $6. You do the math.

Unlike an artist or a DJ selling his own music at a $1.20 to a million followers, the flight simmer is a small niche and those with compassion are even smaller.

I doubt that flightsim devs are getting rich by ripping their customers off.
