PMDG 737-600 released

Featured Replies

I am using nothing anymore from PMDG because they still not be able to get the 2d pop ups to work from the outside view.

Therefor i am not flying the 737-7 anymore until this issue is fixed because that boders me that mutch, just get killed about that..

If at any day this issues does work/ is fixed i come back to fly with the 737 series..

Never can understand it does work for Aerosoft ( on there CRJ ) and not for PMDG !

cheers 😉

This is great news, and will hopefully silence a lot of the nonsense that has been thrown at PMDG over the past year.

An absolute no from me, but for those of you that have got it - I hope you thoroughly enjoy it!

Looking forward to the -800 now that the -600 is out of the way.

PMDG have already the SDK of SimUpdate 10 ...

I'm not getting the -600 (nor the -800). Happy with the -700. Although it's an amazing prize, and it's probably a fun "little" aircraft.

I don't see any discussion anywhere on the new features included with the -700 update that Mr. Randazzo described in his post about the -600 release. There's a lot of exciting LNAV improvements.

Yes, what is the truth about those LNAV/VNAV improvements ?

I'll start another thread on it 🙂

I am wondering if 35$ wasn't the intended price since the beginning, inflated at first to increase the sale of the -700.

Thanks. Good idea about another thread.

Well I bought this, as I have both varieties of A320s and have no intention of getting either the 700 or 800. Anyway it looks really nice.

Just a note though, I installed it into MSFS, but Navdata Centre doesn't show any installation tab for the PMDG 600 add on. So I can't install Navigraph Navdata into the FMS.

Any ideas or advice anyone?

Thanks

The -700 is currently discounted a bit when I just checked.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Not gonna grab it. I'm a -700 and a tiny bit of -800 guy. Same with the 320/319, i much prefer flying a 319.

Just bought the -600. I never would have bought it for more than $35. I reckon there are a lot of people who will buy it at that price but never would have paid more (regardless of the variant). It's the sweet spot in my opinion. Maybe PMDG will realize this.

Also picked up Drzewiecki Design's Renton on sale at Orbx. Now finalising my late joining of sim update Beta 10. Should be fun.

The $35 is deliberate and Randazzo does know about the market who are just looking for a cheap PMDG 737 and don’t care what variant it is.

Randazzo is also targeting XBox users. The $35 price is the most friendly to XBox users.

Has it been released to the Xbox yet? Will be interesting to know how well it will sell in that market segment. My guess is: really well.
