I'll probably get it when it goes on sale later this year at ORBX, don't think I want to pay $8 for it now. Kinda cool as I'd like to get into bush trips at some point.

Yeah me too.

I'm into this.  I spend way too much time in RDR2 sitting in my tent,  watching the campfire and talking to my horse.

To me,this is like MSFS meets Skyrim.  Heck, let's go all out:  Can we have a First-person view of the pilot climbing out of the plane, walking to the chair, sitting down and enjoying a cold one?  How about going into the tent and sleep for 8 hours or so? (sped up of course!).  Then, wake up, unzip the zipper and see the beautiful dawn.  That's what I enjoy most about playing Skyrim.  How about in MSFS?  I actually have mixed feelings on this....

Really interesting to read this from someone who has Skyrim (one of the big world games i presume )

I actually think that the second big phase of msfs 2020 (after graphic visual/scenery design ) will be the 'socialization effect' of a cross-tech platform game. Iff no other game does this on a massive world level (even minecraft hasnt ) then this one will is my guess

I mean, this is really cool. Great little immersion addon. But if it's more than $5, it's too expensive for what it is.

EDIT: Er.. $25? Lol no.

Intel Core i7 8700k clocked to 4.6GHz, GTX1080Ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, MSFS installed on NVMe drive, Windows 11, Dell 27" 60Hz Monitor + Dell 24" 60Hz Monitor. Resolution 1920x1080. Game Mode on, GPU scheduling enabled (Win11). MSFS settings: High-End for airlines, Ultra for GA.

The part about code sharing sounds intriguing.

Would it work in multiplayer, so you can see other people flying in and landing?

But does your horse talk back to you? This is what I really want to know.

Iff you are referring too cross-platform tech btw not sure ? but would say there are already videos where user side characters are in the video. Code sharing makes sense to me. They ran a virtual singer concert in fortnite a while back, so u could run fortnite and access at once, so i wonder how these developments will work in msfs2020 as a potential central world computer game.

Nope, you are mixing up two different things. But the names are nearly identical. I was confused first too. For this one owners of the Fox package get a time limited discount.

I see what you mean , but Mt. Patterson is included :

If you own FreedomFox / Fox2 Complete Pack, you already own this scene.

Your purchase includes three BLM landing areas in Mono County, California, in the Sweetwater Range.

  • 42MW Mars with Flowers
  • 42MP Mount Patterson Peak
  • 42MM Montague Mine Stone Cabin

Scenes have a small footprint vs. complete sceneries that cover a larger area. Expect challenging spots with immaculate vibes; whether it feels remote or cozy will depend on each spot.

42MW - Mars with Flowers A place of extreme weather and altitude near the Mount Patterson Summit. Accurately recreated trailhead marker Featured in Trent Palmer's video titled "I landed my plane on an 11,000ft mountain." Challenging altitude and weather Terraformed region to better resemble real-world data Custom ground texturing to resemble real-world data better

42MP - Mount Patterson Peak A summit of 11,654 feet in elevation makes it the highest mountain in the Sweetwater range. Accurately recreated animated American Flag at peak Custom Soundscape includes Flag and hardware in the wind Challenging short landing area located at a high altitude Terraformed region to correctly resemble real-world data An incredible spot to enjoy sunrise/sunset

42MM - Montague Mine Stone Cabin A miner's cabin built from local stone in the 1800s is used for shelter by hikers today. Fully recreated stone cabin Custom Soundscape includes squeaking door in the wind Challenging short landing area located in a valley at a high altitude Terraformed region to correctly resemble real-world data Custom modeled interior full of fun surprises

Plus this included also :

/42 Bush Plane Campout

for Microsoft Flight Simulator

If you own FreedomFox / Fox2 Complete Pack, you already own this scene.

Your purchase includes a Private landing area in Red Bluff, California - 42BC Bush Plane Campout.

THIS IS NOT THE "//42 CAMPOUT" ADD-ON UTILITY

Very confusing to say the least .

Looks great for a certain market. Hopefully in the future we'll have a body and can do a bit of hunting and get pelts / trophies RDR2 style.

i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

Sounds like a bunch of stuck up Flightsimmers in this thread. Let folks use the sim as they please, it only helps it grow MSFS instead of being stagnant like the others with no enthusiasm besides being stagnant.
