Ohh I hadn’t considered that. Using FSTLT just for GA

Just for GA and static aircrafts. Both are adjustable.

Does API matter for your specific technique?

Is there some place I can grab just the AIG GA models and put them in the community folder alone?

1) FSLTL is using offline traffic engine, like AIG. Injector just gives flights with depart airport and arrival by the fr24 data. MSFS2020 is doing the rest with offline engine. It is confusing, but like in FSLTL instuctions is saying, you should put in msfs2020 traffic settings to "OFFLINE". In my method we are using there "real time online" with injector still making static aircrafts to the airports.

2) I am suggesting to use FSLTL and AIG with FSLTL injector (but only with static aircraft) and lets do MSFS2020 "real time online", the REAL online traffic do the traffic in the skies and airports.

So I tried it, but didn't like it. We can use nameplates but there is no traffic spawning at high altitude as when using the injector, so we see no contrails. It just spawns aircraft near our plane. And now I have the aircraft buzzing the tower at low altitude because the injector is not making them disappear since the traffic was not injected by FSLTL. I can't stand the traffic buzzing the airport at low altitude so I'm going back to using the FSLTL injector for IFR again.

The default MSFS Live Traffic does use real time positional information when the aircraft is not on final approach/landing, taking off or taxing.

Last year I watched a NavCanada CRJ doing what I assume was ILS approach tests at an Airbase in Nova Scotia.

I think it more mimics sort of what the flight did from Flightaware but only to a point, it's really hit and miss. In my testing of the Real Time traffic from the sim I never saw any realistic spacing on final like you would irl, nor did I ever see the same tight departure sequencing. I also didn't see departures ever turn while on the sid where those are a thing like they do with PSXT Traffic or irl. There's just too many inconsistencies imo.

I have to correct my last post regarding contrails, just saw an aircraft at FL360 with a contrail. Looks like the only problem is that lots of aircraft go around and then keep buzzin the airport at low altitude.

I've see that FlyTampa is the only dev that has done this correctly. I've only checked at YSSY and KBOS though. But at least they took the time to put those in there for future use.

I worked hard on KSAV to accomplish this too. Watching there I saw 2 gate spawned aircraft (have it set to 1 in FSLTL) and they were at their correct gates.

Fair enough. Those flyovers are mood breaker for spotting. But they are more rare at smaller big airport.

But i will try more myself also.

No idea, Kai just said it's being fixed with a future Traffic Controller update.

It happens with all offline traffic, it's a base sim issue not an AIG issue. FSLTL must have found a way around it as well.

I fear the fix might also require the traffic being injected. That's the main reason I was curious how it was done (to see if it was possible with traffic bgl files and not injection methods).

Yea I just can't go back to spinning aircraft and airlines buzzing over.

Thanks for saving me some time, I'll just stick to FSLTL injection.🍻

Yeah, I think if the injector could delete aircraft that go around but was not injected by it this could be a good option. Unfortunately it can't.

Still get AI spinning on taxiways with FSLTL unfortunately.

With MSFS traffic completely offline?

Yes there is 6min delay aprox.

Put VFR traffic to max in FSLTL injector. Real time online shows some GA traffic in USA and they are showing in msfs2020 if they have depart and arrival info in flightaware. AIG has lots of GA airplanes.

I'm not seeing that 6 min delay when using MSFS Online traffic with FSLTL. Just saw an aircraft approaching to land at LPPT on Flightradar and it was approaching in the sim at the same time. Maybe 1 minute behind max. Probably that 6 min delay is just for some countries like the US.

FSLTL still has spinning aircraft, it's even mentioned on the website as an issue they can't fix.

They're using the default AI systems to control the aircraft, only Asobo can't stop the spins.

Because MSFS is still handling the AI traffic when on the ground (and during approaches, landings, takeoffs and go-arounds).
