The content manager is aware of all of your official (Standard, Deluxe, etc) and marketplace content that you have access to and knows whether or not it is installed. If you uninstall KLAX, it will appear among the uninstalled items. When you want to reinstall the scenery, the content manger function will download it again to your Official folders.

Think of handcrafted Asobo airports like KLAX or EDDF or EGLL etc.as normal 3rd-party-airports. They cannot be excluded by another 3rd party, just like it wasn't possible in P3D. So what you do instead is remove the one 3rd-party airport (in this case Asobo's). It can be removed and installed just like any other addon you bought through the marketplace. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

October 18, 20223 yr I can get 27-30 frames at this airport with traffic set at 60 for FSLTL. Now if Im at the Southwest terminal facing west i can get 8 frames maybe back to 30 then 9 frames again and sits there for maybe a couple min. When i turn and look anywhere else I can get 30 frames. This is also with traffic off at the airport. I also made sure the Asobo KLAX has been disabled. Anyone else get these massive drops. Its like a wallpaper, totally unplayable at 8 frames.. my pc specs bellow. Tried in DX11 and 12 and on the latest Nvidia game drivers Here is the area Im talking about with the massive frame drop https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wsPPrbQhBYRol_tYsTH2_OMLReaExtnr/view?usp=sharing Edited October 18, 20223 yr by Bill A Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
October 18, 20223 yr Do they offer a lite version that removes all the FPS killing interior modeling so you can enjoy the exterior changes without tanking your FPS? 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

Interior modeling is really a waste of time and majority I’m sure would prefer smooth exterior performance! Eric
October 18, 20223 yr I see the old 'interiors cost too much performance and are a waste of time' posts are back. The developer Pyreegue says interiors don't affect performance all that much. Given his work, and that of other great developers, are not taxing on PC resources, I'm inclined to believe him. Also, MSFS' aggressive LOD ranges means interiors don't show until taxiing really close to the terminal, rather than on final. Could iniBuilds refine and optimise their KLAX further? Very likely. I think it's their exterior modelling and amount of objects on the ramp that are causing the performance problems for some people, rather than the "FPS killing interior modelling" theory, which on the MSFS platform has now been debunked. They said that they are willing to hear any feedback on their own forums to improve their product and have already released two updates. As for interiors being a waste of time? Well, that depends on your perspective. A lot of people like them and I think TBIT looks much better for having its interior modelled. Just needs the option of having people inside. October 20, 20223 yr The issue is most likely the curvatures they used in the rendering, they should have decimated or used fewer sub-divisions. I looked at a video and there is quite a bit of curved objects outside and inside that look a bit too perfect. It could be something else, but this is usually the cause I find in most places with performance issues. Hence, the main performance issue in MSFS is still curved objects with too many polys. Differing configs, hardware, heading different directions, different planes, about a thousand reasons. Performance in MSFS can sometimes be like the "straw that broke the camel's back"...
