October 13, 20223 yr FSR 2 comes with a fair share of ghosting issues (unfortunately including the glass displays again) and disocclusion artifacts, but when it comes to anti-aliasing and upsamplng quality, it just creams the TAAU. The reconstructed image is much cleaner, aliasing and shimmering are greatly reduced, and sharpening is not really needed. At 4K, even Ultra Performance mode looks amazing when the camera is static or in low motion. Can't compare against DLSS, but against TAAU this is way, way better. Here's a static image comparison for example. Top is TAAU 35, bottom is FSR 2 Ultra Performance. 1 hour ago, MattNischan said: The MSFS team is in communication with NVidia about this issue Hopefully they are in communication with AMD as well. If we could get FSR 2 with ghost-free glass displays, it would still be a massive upgrade over the TAAU. Edited October 13, 20223 yr by ChaoticBeauty

October 13, 20223 yr Is it just me, or are objects morphing into place now? It's like terrain morphing is taking place in front of us and not at a distance anymore. Flying over London City. I can't un-see all the buildings sort of "morphing" in. Like the terrain morphing complaints. Tried DX12 and DX11... October 13, 20223 yr I took off in the 172 into a strong wind and it didn't feel like a sudden change, like it didn't feel like I was stuck to the runway and broke free. It also didn't feel like I was suddenly punched by the wind once I got airborn. Edited October 13, 20223 yr by Tuskin38
October 13, 20223 yr Anyone else having constant CTD's at the Canada Improvements screen on loading the sim, it's looking like the issue lies with one of the Caranado Aircraft. With all of them removed from the Official folder it runs fine. Off to break down the list to find the culprit. AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

I am just going to leave any Caranado Aircraft out for now. October 13, 20223 yr Ok, currently flying PMDG Kbos-Kclt. AI Aircraft seem to be improved, both on the ground (airport busy) quite a few mid flight now with contrails. I only saw this when useng the FBW traffic injection.before. October 13, 20223 yr The issues with the CTDs seem not to be consistent... I removed Carenado and MS official stuff but CTD still there... I had to remove community folder to get rid of the CTD. So could be just Placebo... Cheers T.
October 13, 20223 yr Had an interesting time with the beta so far. Experienced crashes when loading into a flight with the "driver has encountered an error..." message. Steps taken to troubleshoot: 1. Downloaded latest Nvidia driver. 2. Disabled GSX, FSLTL, Fenix and FWB A320. Also disabled all 3rd party liveries 3. Cleared rolling cache 4. Updated in the content manager (I had forgotton that part) After the steps above I've re-enabled GSX and did a 1 hour flight in the PMDG 737 with no issues. Performance with DLSS in auto mode is fantastic, super smooth at 4k 60 FPS. No issues with cockpit screens becoming inop after a while as some have reported. Next step is to re-enable the Fenix and my 3rd party liveries to see how things go. Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.
