How do I signal the tow plane to start?

You use your rudders, left / right / left / right, couple of times, middle to full deflection should do it

Oh wow, thank you!

If anyone is interested the Operations Manual for the DC-3 can be found at \Official\OneStore\microsoft-aircraft-dc3\Documentation.

And the purpose of flashing this right on the middle of the screen every five seconds while you are flying an approach is exactly what?

This is a big one from the release notes --- but is there finally a real actual true PAUSE ?

The experts on helicopter simulation, https://www.helisimmer.com/ giving their initial thoughts on MSFS helicopters and the physics/flight-dynamics involved. Safe to say they are very impressed. They'll be doing full write-ups and more live streams later.

See https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/626513-helicopters-what-do-you-think/?do=findComment&comment=4874061 for some of the excerpts I captured from video below.

Anyone else noticed VHHX Kai Tak? It installes itself, seriously? And if I do NOT want this airport in my sim as it does no longer exist? Do I really have to uninstall it manually and is it possible at all to uninstall it? Should be optional such things, really...

You can delete it in the content manager along with Meigs.

They included it because it's a famous airport from the franchise's past.

They included a lot of stuff as "mandatory" that is not mandatory at all.

The next time I hope they are being a little more dilligent with installation sizes and only install what is really mandatory for functionality and then leave the rest to user choice through the content manager.

I had to move all of my POI installations from the World Updates in order to free enough space to install this thing of which I will only use about 3 aircraft regularly in the end.

Ridiculous!

I deleted about 16 GB of stuff I will never use in the Content manager today alone.

You don't need to repeat yourself, you already wrote on page 10 but I understand it's that age...

There is a DC3 update in Marketplace too along with the new Airbus (not in content manager).

thanks very much for the heads up, that never occurred to me that there would be updates to an update, they released these 40th edition aircraft only today and at the same time the 40th comes with additional updates for the very same aircraft?

how did you find out?

are there more updates besides the A310 that you mentioned?

very nice.

Good grief.   I upgraded my SSD to a 1TB from a 500GB drive due to this program ballooning so much.  Sounds like I'll be deleting any extra content I don't plan on using.
