However, still not sure about these. I have the BS King Air and really like it for all that it has .... but (I know it's petty) but I really like have static gear, opening windows, doors and luggage compartments.

I will buy the Bonanza for sure and probably the Baron as well, even if they are missing these features.
BTW, the King Air has opening storm windows, something that I noticed when a cabin altitude alarm went of on one of my first flights. After take off I noticed a soft rattle I couldn't explain. Took me a while to find out that the right storm window wasn't locked and thus the cabin couldn't be pressurised.

Funny thing is, if I take off with the storm windows open the aircraft crashes so it might be a simulated failure.

Yeah, also, don't make the mistake of trying to open that window in flight. If you do, it is instant game-over.

Anybody get the links to work for the 91 page manual (Analogue Guage Bonanza) on the Just Flight site?

I get this...with or without holding down CTL to dismiss popup blocker.

Access to downloads.justflight.com was denied

You don't have authorization to view this page.

HTTP ERROR 403

The link should work fine from the website, not sure why that's an issue for you.  Here's another link for you, this is designed to use away from the website, on places like this as it happens. See if this works for you...

Oh, I thought the Baron was going to release first? Oops!

My understanding is the is that the Bonanza releases first and the Baron will follow a couple of weeks later

I figured it was coming this week since I noticed Q8Pilot and British Avgeek released preview videos on YouTube this weekend. Really excited for this one. For the last year I've pretty much flown the PMDG and Fenix but in the last couple of weeks I've gone back to GA and I had forgotten how amazing this simulator is when you're flying down low. I've been having a blast crawling around in the WB Sim 172.

I have the Caravan and love it, especially when coupled with the excellent FTsim+ sound pack.

I have always been a fan of the G36 and G58 so I will be straight in for these.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I'll buy it but like the Caravan and King Air I'm guessing that it will be similarly overpriced. It's just the default model.

Why buy it if you think it's not worth it ?

I mean physically yes it's just the exterior model but have you watched any of these videos?  It's in depth - it's a living and breathing bonanza and baron.  Any price in the 30s seems fair to me for that.

I don't mind the price as I feel it's already discounted considering the man-hours that obviously went into it (I refer to the KA, since it's the only one I have). What I do have some issue with is the service and how long it's been taking them to get the fixes out for this aircraft simply because they're holding off on that and instead putting all their time into new payware releases.

Issues with the KA such as an obvious tendency to roll left during cruise phase on every flight, requiring aileron trim... the disappearing clickspots when using the TDS 750 layout alongside the regular radios (not the 530gns), flight model has too much flap drag as well. I won't mention the fast taxi issue because I feel it is mostly the fault of the sim.

I assume this will all be fixed at some point after they release their new payware models for sale...but the KA has had these issues for many months already and I wish they would at least have hot-fixed the stuff that keeps their products at least flying well.

I get that the new msfs business model of constant sim updates makes things very difficult for addon makers...but this was clearly going to be a thing since Xplane has been doing it like this for decades and now MS decides to copy it. But to have to wait so many months for quality of flight fixes is too long, IMO.

I appreciate the projects they are working on and are glad to have them fill this kind of role in our marketplace, I just wish they'd adopt a better philosophy when it comes to their customer service and it's timing.

I only just bought the Caravan package today after reading threads like this about the Bonanza. Not sure why on earth I waited so long, it's amazing. I'm sure I'll complete the set eventually.

For your information the King Air update has already been released.
