Last item on the list. I don't get why they set the default to "Low". Considering how many people here don't even know where to look for the option, I predict many simmers are just going to assume that turbulences are fixed now, while they are now basically flying on the old "on-rails" setting. 😉 Edited March 21, 20233 yr by Farlis

Question (as I won't be able to try for a week): can you adjust the intensity of turbulence in live weather, as in, the weather otherwise remains live and changing? Or is this like adjusting other weather parameters, where you have to leave livev weather to adjust it? Hopefully it can be tweaked on the fly, because there are times the turbulence feels realistic, and times it is ridiculous. Andrew Crowley

March 21, 20233 yr Turbulence is the last adjustment in assistance Piloting. Low, medium, and Realistic. Mine was set on Low, I just moved it to Realistic.
March 21, 20233 yr Realistic is good for me now in SU12, as it has been toned down anyway from SU11. Sometimes I was getting a roll rate of 45 degrees per second just from turbulence in light aircraft with SU11 - ridiculous for moderate weather. SU12 realistic setting now moves the plane around nicely without trying to flip me over. The effect over hills / mountains has been toned down a bit also. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Well they've fixed one graphical VR bug in SU12 that was reported once SU5 was released (nearly two years ago), it took them 5-6 weeks to half-fix the SU7 fiasco with VR toolbar bugs (some of which still exist today) so I don't hold much hope of them fixing this new toolbar issue any time soon. This bug could well of been fixed during Beta, VR app devs are already adjusting and managing to workaround this issue already (thankfully), the above from Jayne is merely keeping the peace that some of us can read straight through 😄 Yes SU12 is chock full of goodies & other important bug fixes which is great and I'm thankful for those, but yet again they let themselves down especially with another kick in the balls to VR users. They've had a bad reputation for poor Quality Control since day one....it continues today.
