What's the scoop with FSLTL. Do I use the SU11 injector, or do I download the experimental one for SU12?

I am using the one I downloaded a couple of weeks ago, works perfectly.

Anyone used the turbulence slider, what is the recommended setting...default ?

I left it on default through the beta and found that to work.

Edit: by default I mean realistic.

But that is not the default setting the sim now ships with. Default it is set to "low".

Yup I forgot that I had to go make that change when I entered the beta.

Went to update mine to Su12. It was struggling to install the update, then it decided to delete the whole game from my computer (MS Store).

Anyone else had this issue before? Frustrating to say the least.

1.4.0

maybe it was just the amount of traffic on MS servers due to this update

ROG Crossair Hero X670e , 9900X, TUF 4090 , X4 NVME's. OS  2TB 980 Pro , MSFS  2TB WD Black , Kington Fury 64GB ram ( 6000) Corsair RM1000 PSU, Artic Freezer iii 360 AIO  . Phanteks P600s Case ,TCL QM8B 50" 120 Hz  TV,second 24 inch screen for charts you tube etc, and 11" touch screen for the EFB. Warthog Stick and TCA Captains throttle ( full pack)  Velocity 1 Rudder Pedals , extreme3D for the Tiller,Streamdeck XL x2 / Streamdeck +/Streamdeck mini because i like pressing buttons

So far SU12 is working well, better frame rates, little or no stutters, improved graphics, improved weather, and no pop up scenery in inclement conditions...

Re: these non-trivial VR regressions, like before they might be addressed in interim updates rather than waiting for the next SU, hopefully at least, per below:

I urgently hope you are right. I am about to write a contribution for the official forum right now. I hope I can tame my temper as, honestly, I am quite annoyed.

But you are right, I will point to this  possibility.

Kind regards, Michael

So with SU12, the TBM 930 landing lights actually throw some decent light.

If someone wants to read my posting (I'm pmb2019 there) and follow the whole thread on the VR toolbar on the official forum, it's here:

I tried to stay polite, which wasn't easy but usually achieves more than wild shooting.

Kind regards, Michael

Good post! 🙂

Just tried the CJ4 in major stormy weather..... really nice!

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Unfortunately, the mention of CM Jummivana to bring it to her attention for tomorow's Q&A was removed by a mod.

Not amused, but what can we poor plain users do.

Kind regards, Michael
