They've been very careful not to use the words Star Wars anywhere. As if that will make a difference 🙂

Captain Sim may be in a galaxy far away! However, there is a massive Star Wars following globally and if only a fraction of this crowd has MSFS on their computer, you can bet this trial run is the start of a new direction if the $$$ shows.

The Disney lawyers will likely have something to say about that.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. BTW don’t let Captain Sim see your avatar …. you might see it as a future release!

Not sure why anybody would pay for something like this, when free models have been around forever.

I'm trying to think of something we got from Captain Sim that was good. Not great but good. Somehow I remember a 707. It was definitely what would be called lite but I think maybe it looked pretty good. Was that CS or am I mistaken? I'd love if some dev did a lite 707. Why don't they something like this instead of this 💩

Kathleen Kennedy reach is massive. Everything she touches turns to Do-Do

I'm amazed it came with a cockpit LOL

True, but these freewares have very limited or no virtual cockpits, which severely limits the enjoyment (definitely going to try that flying bike in VR, though 😄 )

This new TieFighter comes with a little bit more elaborated virtual cockpit, which is a plus. 15 dollars is a bit steep though, but there might be sales in future 🙂

Concerning Disney... maybe he actually got some licence ? I mean, in the end, it's just about setting an agreement for sharing the incomes, right ?

Considering the Captain Sim site makes zero references to "Star Wars" explicitly, you can bet with 100% confidence they do not have licensing or relevant accreditations from Disney.

"Tie Fighter" is actually a restricted trademark - hopefully Disney show Captain Sim where to go.
