Unfortunately I think you're right. 😭

777 should be a good one! Really enjoyed it in the previous sims.... however what I really want and I know it will be a long wait but worth the wait, as she always is.... is the Queen Of The Skies. It's not too much to ask for is it? to blast a fully loaded Singapore 747F out of Sydney?

Since I don't want to talk about the EFB every time, I like to remind you that at the beginning of 2021 Randazzo posted that he expects to release the 777 (yes) until the end of 2021 (!). The whole PMDG team seems to be severely lacking in any kind of knowledge, be it coding or planning, because there is absolutely no justification that such an experienced developer is constantly late by multiple years (!).

There was a thread here on avsim a while ago when they didn't post an update for 3 weeks or so and people were upset about the silence. Others said they're probably busy and don't have anything to show, but people thought it was nonsense because it only takes two minutes and they're avoiding posting updates. Next time they posted one the corresponding avsim thread was basically a copy of this one.

Before they started posting updates more frequently and people kept asking they kept saying the reason they don't is because there isn't much to say and that updates wouldn't be of much substance. That was basically every week in the PMDG forum when it was still on avsim; someone asking and a PMDG person saying they will give an update when there's actually something to show.

They've produced some of the best addons you can get for some 20 years, so saying they seem to be severely lacking in any kind of knowledge is a bit much. I'm guessing it's more that they're having their hands a bit too full for a team their size and that they (evidently and by their own account) greatly misjudged the work required to develop for MSFS back in 2021-ish.
