September 6, 20232 yr Even though on Avsim we are usually focused on payware aircraft, the fantastic freeware mods available in MSFS (in particular WT's and FBW's efforts) have brought some of the default aircraft to a very decent level. With that in mind, what 3 aircraft, whether Airliner / Bizjet / Turboprop / 'Bug smasher' / Rotary wing / Glider, would you like to see as default versions in MSFS2024? . Taking inspiration from the default aircraft of flight sims past, mine would be: Dash 8 (any variant) Learjet 45 777-300 AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440) Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

September 6, 20232 yr I also want a Dash 8 at the same system depth of the ATR in the marketplace. A metroliner would also be nice. Jorg said the aircraft list will make us excited so I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing what will be on it. I'm pretty much locked in to get the premium deluxe version if there is one. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

September 6, 20232 yr Too obscure to be a default aircraft , but I’d really love a British Aerospace ATP. It would be great if just flight did it as it would sit nicely with their BAe 146. 787 captain. September 6, 20232 yr I mean most of the default aircraft I could do without. However the few exceptions with the WT enhancements such as the CJ4, C700 and TBM I'd love to see again in 2024. Also I'd LOVE to see a Citation X+ with the same tech as the longitude. The rest I'd take with my payware...my BS Baron, Bo, upcoming Dukes, TBM. A2A's Comanche but I'd love to see their 300hp V tail... a analog Lancair Legacy. An Embraer Praetor would be sick, any newer Falcon like the 8X, 2000S, even a 900EX would be appreciated. I'd take a Gulfstream, Global any long range bizjet as well. I'd also love to see a C441 with high end systems or a Cheyenne (the PA42 preferably as it's faster), also hope to see a2a's Aerostar someday. Basically anything fast that's not military or an airliner I'd buy with reasonable systems depth. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 6, 20232 yr An interesting but challenging question. What was the purpose of the default aircraft in 20 and its predecessors ? To make us wait for the payware 😃. But the payware we have now are supposed to fly in FS24. This defeats the purpose. So why new default birds ? FS24 will almost certainly come with a CL 415, a heavy lift chopper and air tractor. Not sure I need anything more. Also, better have a few good default aircraft than a pile of so-so birds which could be modded by good souls. Then, there are quite a few aircraft that I would NOT like to see in the default roster lest no payware dev would do them afterwards. September 6, 20232 yr The only default aircraft I care about (Baron, King Air) have already been updated with Blacksquare's gauge update and that is all I need for short to medium flights. Waiting for BS Turbo Duke, after that one and PMDG 737-600 (which I already have), is all I need.
