If you run the in-game ATC with FSLTL, you willl get a good idea for just how much chatter there is if you inject traffic. Now, the meter will be running for each flight, and who knows if it will truly solve the ATC problem better than some of the one-time-cost ATC programs.

Now, if I want a realistic flight on a busy corridor, I need to essentially add $2-3 each flight.

I want to emphasize, that those 15 dollars a month would - in contrast to navigraph or volanta - not be for the entire program (this has an additional entry purchase), but just for the voices. Imagine buying the PMDG for 60 dollars but then having to pay 10 dollars a month for the CDU character limit. I'm again and again amazed how MSFS changed the flight sim world in every imaginable way, be it positive or negative...

Ditto. Was excited, but those price points (even if it ends up being just a pass through cost - which it doesn't sound like it will be) are too high. This is made mores by the fact that people will likely want the "premium" voices, which will be priced higher and will want more than 20-30 AI flights handled during their flights. I will continue to use P2ATC and the SAPI voices that I have already purchased.

From what I've been reading the only way to make this cost effective all around is to use BATC for your transmissions only or fly out of putt-putt airfields. Still waiting for an answer on their discord channel if there will be some type of hobbs meter so end users can keep track for themselves. Questions seems to get ignored, when a simple yes or no will do.

They probably don't have an answer for this yet. It is not even in the beta stage, they are still developing it. Give them some time.

Their are plenty of Businesses dressing up regular payment models. If you have to pay xx amount every xx weeks (depending on your use) then to me that has always been and always will be just another disgused subscription. There seems little doubt that this release is not going to be a one off payment for the continued use of the full features of this product... therefore however you choose to described their continual charging model is just gravy.

I am sure that the developers of BATC will do an oustanding job of spinning any potential regular payment system as "NOT a subscription", I don't think they are in need of any members assistance.

If that is the way you feel, then don't purchase it. Simple. 

All this is pure speculation and a totally useless discussion. 

How can one even assume that BeyondATC who will sell thousands and thousands of licenses will have to pay the same price to AI voice providers as a single end user would?

I am sure they will come up with a reasonable pricing model.

If one were truly a Hard Core Simmer (tm), you would forego a lunch one day a month, if that's what it took, to pay the $15.  You would do it in a heartbeat If it meant you could get the type of immersion this product seems it will provide (assuming it delivers as promised).  If you can't make that kind of sacrifice then you're in the wrong hobby.

I completely agree with that.

But this has nothing to do with BeyondATC, because there is no reason to assume that BeyondATC wiil cost $15.00 a month.

Got it.  By all means you're free to pony up your money, or not, for anything you see fit.  I guess it just surprises me that it seems like people expect a company to spend a huge amount of time and effort to create a product that greatly improves our very niche hobby, .. and deliver it as charity?  Or even imply that the company just "wants your money" - the implication being that it is undeservedly doing so.
