November 16, 20232 yr I wonder if this could be the culmination of the bugginess and CTD-proneness of the sim after SU13?? Those crashes seemed to revolve around Bing Data World Graphics and Photogrammetry, causing myself and many others to throttle our network speeds to try to not have issues with the data streaming and/or processing. Our constant CTDs unless strange workarounds were done might simply have been the canary in the coalmine. As I’ve been saying since my issues started after SU13, I’m very skeptical for the plans for MSFS2024 and an even thinner client.

November 16, 20232 yr Sorry, guys. It seems that my purchase of Microsoft Flight Simulator at this late stage has taken the servers over the edge. November 16, 20232 yr Guys, when there are server issues, these are normally solved short, before I want to fly. Today also. I'm very sorry that my workday lasted that long, but hope, you can now finally enjoy your flight, I will 😉 Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

November 16, 20232 yr Yes. Back to normal, ie rubbish again. Is it possible to turn off the Bing mapping? Even with online functionality turned off, it still uses Bing - just wondered if there was an option to turn it off/personal preference?

Having bing data world graphics off makes the world awful doesn't it? Unless you're talking about photogrammetry. Get the Map enhancement Mod and you have a choice of Old BIng ( default), New Bing ( better) or Google Map. https://flightsim.to/file/19345/msfs-2020-google-map-replacement

No it isn't, it rarely happens. 6 hours ago, Claudius_ said: dedicated to the "it's not MSFS20 fault" guys. Well yeah, because it's a server issue, not an issue with the sim itself.
