Could be a static for their new scenery....Who knows?

Nah that looks much too detailed for a static...

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

That is what they want, expect people to speculate.

And they haven't even got the A300 out the door yet!

Maybe it's a livery pack for the FBW A380.

Edit:  I had a look at an enlarged picture.  If it is their own A380 then the paint scene is naff up close.  Click on the picture to enlarge it and look at the gold writing - awful!
So hopefully it is static scenery.  Best leave the A380 to FBW I think.
If they want to do another Airbus, the A350 is sorely missing.
I really want the A220, but I think a team associated with FBW is doing that.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

This a hundred percent lol. Ini love to build anticipation and speculation via their social channels (their discord is a fun place due in part to this).

Personally I think this is static scenery, part of the upcoming Dubai scenery they've been teasing and is dropping this week (and very likely used in this trailer).

They've also said the upcoming reveal of their secret "modern longhaul airbus" project is *not* the A380 since it was announced already, but we also don't really know how far along their A380 might be in development 🙂

Inibuilds know that it will be a breeze when they release it. Going to be so popular and they will know the sales will go through the roof.

A lot will buy it.

They have been talking about doing a A380 since they were developing aircraft for X-Plane. I would not doubt this is their next project and would not be surprised if it were not.

I

FBW will not be available for XBOX users and Ini A380 possible could. Think about the sales they would make.

That's clearly a static model, it's not detailed enough to be a user aircraft. Texture resolution is too low as well.

I thought they said a while ago in their discord that the modern airbus longhauler was NOT the A380, but their 380 was still a project just back burnered for now.

I do not want to be unpleasant but it may still be a poorly optimized Inibuilds product.

I think this is just them putting out a promo for their DXB, I don't think they're really working on the A380 for the myriad of reasons listed here.

As they've said that their A380 is on hold, could it not just be that they've used it's external model to build a static aircraft, for use in scenery (or even just promos like this).   Seems more likely that a sudden A380 about to drop at the same time they've announced their A300 is about to release!
