January 6, 20242 yr And yes since admins require no evolution of a thread, I do buy P3D items, most recent was a bunch of Orbx airports during their end of year sale. Also Planning on a few of the jets everyone seems to have (except myself that is). Cheers Ryzen 5800X clocked to 4.7 Ghz (SMT off), 32 GB ram, Samsung 1 x 1 TB NVMe 970, 2 x 1 TB SSD 850 Pro raided, Asus Tuf 3080Ti P3D 4.5.14, Orbx Global, Vector and more, lotsa planes too. January 6, 20242 yr Just bought the MJC Dash 8 and an airport for use in v6. Will keep getting things I like.

Consider having a look at FC Scenery and if you fly in Canada look at SimAddOns Canadian airports. I have both (FC Scenery for 3 provinces & SimAddOns for right across Canada). These have improved V6 into something quite good for me.
January 6, 20242 yr Haven't bought anything for P3D since the iFly MAX. There's FSL's Concorde that I considered but that's coming out for MSFS anyway, so meh. Sometimes I'll look at SimMarket to see what new P3D sceneries have been released but I haven't seen anything compelling lately. Everything just looks so dated.

I had to replace the FC Scenerys autogen with the one from here: I also got Panama and Uruguay from them. However, I need to keep at least 5000 ft AGL in order to enjoy them the best. January 9, 20242 yr Recently (actually already half year away) only iFly MAX and FSL Concorde, because.. what else we have anyway.... Actually got I believe around 5~10 add-ons for X-Plane then.
January 9, 20242 yr BUT!!! I'm so angry at certain creators/developers* that I promised myself I wouldn't invest a dollar/euro in their products if I switched to MSFS today.... In other words, from the developer's point of view it would be the same if I were in P3D or MSFS. I would count for Microsoft's statistics and nothing more. * I don't mean all of them, but it's not hard to think who they are. 13600KF - AIO - 32GB DDR4 - RTX4070 - UW1440p GSync - USB DAC - 2TB NVMe - Windows 11 Pro - Gladiator NXT EVO - 1 Gbps Fiber - MSFS 2024
January 9, 20242 yr I wish developers would reduce prices on P3d addons. I would certainly purchase more. Orman
January 9, 20242 yr ABSOLUTELY. P3d v5.4 is my complete favorite sim. It works flawlessly for me every day, and although I do about 30 minutes a day on MSFS, I still enjoy the realism and the overall satisfaction I receive from P3. 5.4 I will continue to support this platform and look forward to a totally revolutionary Lockheed Martin product in the future (V7). January 9, 20242 yr P3D v5 is the sim I continue to invest in. Scenery add-ons are my main investment today but I am still selective about purchasing add-ons that meet my needs and are not exorbitant priced and my focus is flying in the sim , no tuning or tweaking P3D. And its reliable and stable.. Lets face it, P3D may no longer be the #1 sim in the market, but its dependable and it already has a host of add-ons that are already available. January 13, 20242 yr I still buy all kinds of add-ons for P3D though now that I have collected and own many add-ons of all kinds, aircraft, scenery, tools, etc. I am a lot more picky now on what I get and I am more patient to wait for discounts. There are still plenty of P3D add-ons that I am still interested in trying and I don't think I will ever stop trying new ones.
January 29, 20242 yr I have had a hit or miss run of luck with addons. Running V6.19xx some work while others take a lot of fiddling and some just will not run. So I am loathe to spend $100+ on a 'maybe.' But I'd like a PMDG or an iFly.
January 29, 20242 yr My 5.4 6 month Professional License will end in March, so, I decided to uninstall 5.4 for good and wait for 6 addons to grow in the direction I want. I already have two of my all all time preferred addons for v6 - Active Sky and now also FSHUD which was one of the most positive experiences I had in the last years of sim purchases, but I will miss FSLabs, and yes I know the PMDG 777 runs in v6, and also that I could spend some money in the Majestic Q-400, but I want to know if my Orbx products will be made compatible with v6 first... For the time being I'm back to Xp12 and MFS and waiting for v6 to reach the state it deserves...
