Because you are used to a certain degree of freedom on Avsim doenst mean other forums use the same standards. While I hear what you're saying, and in some respects I agree to a point, but at the end of the day, what's the point of having any forum, if you 're going to delete posts from people simply because they have a different opinion to yourself. It's an extension of our society which, in bigger terms, is cancelling people left right and centre, simply because they have a different viewpoint. It's becoming insidious and needs to stop. Right, it's a certain segment of the population that's hell bent on using freedom of speech and opinions to spread hate. I'd rather the MSFS forums stay as they are and not turn into the cesspool Twitter has become.

I'm member of a forum that is aimed at target shooting. A somewhat controversial topic where I live. Very strict laws. Compared to Avsim that forum is moderated with an iron fist. Of topic?? 1 warning or topic closed. I had to get used to it but as a result forum member give very valuable and reliable help. YThis comparted to forums from countries that have very liberal laws, where member are without any knowledge give advice just because they have a room full of guns. Hardly ever is someone banned. That forum is users heaven, compared to what I often read here. That doesn't mean it will be fixed, it just means it's been logged. 4 hours ago, AnkH said: Users heaven for non-critic, everything accepting simpletons... I've seen plenty of people criticize the sim on the official forums without issue. It's just all in the language they use, don't be rude, don't call devs lazy etc. Use constructive criticism, don't just sayin "blank is broken!" Edited August 20, 20241 yr by Tuskin38

Yes as long as you STILL have the CONSUMER right to complain about such practices /policies to inform the non committed potential customer.
