February 20, 20242 yr Well hmm... Mathijs first posted today in https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/283505-come-and-meet-us-at-fsweekend that their secret/unannounced project will be revealed at the upcoming FSWeekend event in Netherlands (March 16-17) and has since updated it to move the reveal and demo out to FSExpo 2024 in June which they'll also be attending. "We decided to move the demo of our not-yet-announced project to the FlightSimExpo 2024 in Vegas, where we will also have a stand." Wonder what it'll be... interesting to note when someone speculated 757 or 767 or maybe that it's not even an airplane Mathijs responded with "warm": https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/283505-come-and-meet-us-at-fsweekend?p=284709#post284709 Can't be the 737 MAX since it's already announced and they've said they are well into its development. Although they moved the demo out to FSExpo hopefully they can at least reveal something about it earlier.. but maybe not, so as to draw folks to FSExpo. February 20, 20242 yr Global Flight Ops 2. Just want to put the wackiest prediction down first so I get credit when they do something that silly.
February 20, 20242 yr Author Ya perhaps it is indeed a non-aircraft project. If it is an aircraft very likely a Boeing I'd think, though would be quite interesting if something else. Also keep in mind on a previous update https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/281875-27jan24-we-have-been-busy-and-travelling-but-we-are-hard-at-work when Robert said: ... the weekend prior was much more interesting as we had a small portion of the PMDG team together on a research trip related to our next new product line. More on that later, ... February 20, 20242 yr GFO v? even though that project was announced like 5 years ago. Really hoping its a 787 though.
February 20, 20242 yr My money (and there's not a lot of that!) is on the 787. i9-13900K | 6400MHz DDR5 (32GB) | GeForce RTX 4090 24GB MSFS 2024 | PMDG 777-300ER | FBW A380X | Fenix A320 | ini A350

February 20, 20242 yr I'd take a PMDG long range business jet... Falcon 7x/8x pretty puleaaase. Or a Global - i dont even need those new fancy avionics, just anything long range... mach .90 cruise 🙂 | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
February 20, 20242 yr I wouldn’t mind a business jet. Long range wouldn’t matter to me. However would love one that’s not using modern avionics. But one that’s not too old either. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
February 20, 20242 yr Perhaps they bought out and finished the left for dead 742 Classic project from JustFlight. I would be very happy about that.

February 20, 20242 yr Yes, 'warm' applying to the numbers, might mean B747. I would like the old B747SP actually. I really loved that plane, something about the proportions, and I would like to see something different for a change. I used to see Pan Am, TWA, Syrian Arab, and South African Airways B747SP's at Heathrow, and maybe the rare Saudia one occasionally, and the fancy orange Braniff one at London Gatwick. {Sigh} Those were the days. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Just get the 737-700, choose the BBJ and you're off on your next >6,000 mi flight! 😉 Not quite as fast, of course, but you'd have to step up to the Falcon 10 to get longer range. Just kidding (sorta). It'd be great to have a really fast biz jet with long legs. 🙂
