Fenix B2 releases tomorrow.

Yes, we are certainly spoiled for choice! Very excited for this and looking forward to supporting the Fenix devs through the additonal purchase of the A319 and A321.  These guys have overdelivered (I'm sure, despite not having it in hand yet) with a free update of the A320!

@Vitold69  Personally, I was only playing with you, not a serious bet, so please don't delete your account.

Can never be said enough, we're immensely fortunate that we have this new breed of developers the likes of Fenix, Asobo + Working Title, etc who've upended the flight sim developer modus operandi.. all to our benefits, and also in turn to the benefit indirectly of legacy devs I think, to up their game. Win win win.

You ask, they forget, and hopefully we keep you along for the ride.

I personally am looking forward to tomorrow immensely... bring on Fifi's new pearl choker!

I might be in the minority but I am actually looking forward to your input on block 2, because hearing from naysayers can be pretty insightful.

If you have the *other P3D bus* installed, it would be pretty cool to see how the Fenix compares with fuel burn, Single engine ops, deep systems, etc.

I have my assumptions on how both products match up and I'd love to know if reality agrees.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

If/when it comes with support for Skalarki hardware then I’m super excited.  Until then it’s of no interest to me sadly. They claim they have negotiated a new deal with ProSim to remove licensing issues.  So bring it (Skalarki support) on!

P.S.,

By support, I’d like to see the equivalent of what FSLabs provides on P3D.  If that happens, I can finally make the switch to MSFS.  Of course it’s possible FSLabs gets there first.   I’ll take either for the win.

Pro-Sim A320 and MSFS 2024

I really hope they will include this livery

I wonder how far out the 319 and 321 are?

Why? The forum is full of people who made all sorts of predictions that turne out to be completely false.

I remember all the naysayers who "predicted" that MSFS 2020 would drop like a stone to the bottom of the ocean. Some of those folks are still posting here.😄

"...but are the runways undulated?" 😂

Really looking forward to B2 release of the Fenix A320.  It has been a long wait but likely worth it!

I hope at least soon we get an America West A320 with the IAE engines.  Many years ago (Like 25 plus years ago) I was flying PHX to SEA in a brand spanking new A320.  It still had the plastic on the seats and that new car (plane) smell.  The pilot in the right seat was a French fellow.  I can't help but wonder if he was some sort of check pilot from Airbus?  Ride was very nice and trouble free.  It was one of if not my first A320 ride and I admired how roomy it was compared to the 732 I was on before it.

I also remember flying out of ZQN in a Air New Zealand A320 with the IAE engines.  It seems we took off and climbed like a homesick angel and just when you thought the engines were at max thrust more power was poured on and we climbed even faster.  Never experienced that on a CFM powered A320.  I heard the IAE Airbuses have some sort of power boost mode that is seldom used.  Airbus calls it something but I can't remember.

finally~ I hope the new method to access the MCDU and the FCU data will be available too.

My understanding is this won't be in B2, as the discussions with ProSim happened only very recently and there wasn't time to get it into B2.

Everybody press F  to pay respects for @Vitold69 who we lost as a member now, that he has stay true to his word. 😉
