Hi, the app has been installed correctly and runs, but the window does not show on the desktop. Using the Windows key+ tab shows the app but I cannot bring it into view. Do you have any ideas?

I have just formally released AutoFPS version 0.4.2.10. You can read about it and download it here. In summary, it is a minor update to 0.4.2 that provides new options to address stuttering issue

As some users have requested, I've added a slightly darker background variant to the 0.4.2.10 release page, the direct link for which is here. The two versions are otherwise identical. A side-by-

I think you shouldn't start it in admin mode or else double-click at the bottom right?

Thanks for the suggestion, but there is no change. So, it's still unusable for me.

I had the same problem yesterday, I don't know how I managed to get there.
I know I uninstalled it reinstalled too.

It's a pity the author is not on this forum, he could probably help.

Happened to me too. Close it from system tray and realunch it, or reboot your pc.

Take a look in task manager, expand it if necessary and right-click, then maximise it. This works for me sometimes.

Got it now, thank you.

I don't know this application well, I'm more used to Dynamic LOD.

Can anyone tell me how to program it for TLOD 100 on the ground and TLOD 300 on CRZ ?

Knowing that I lock my FPS at 30 with Vsync

Hi, I am the author of the 2024 version. I am a web developer, but I am not an expert in the language or techniques used to create this mod. Nevertheless, I took it upon myself to adapt the app for the new simulator and enhance it where possible. My goal was to contribute something valuable to the community, as this app has made a significant difference for me in MSFS 2020. With MSFS 2024's performance being less than ideal, I wanted to bring the same (or better) experience to others. I worked on this project under tight time constraints, as I have a newborn at home and limited availability. As a result, there may still be some bugs or issues that I couldn’t fully test. However, it has performed well for me so far, and I plan to continue developing, debugging, and improving the app as my schedule permits. I believe I now have a good understanding of how it works.

Now, I know about an issue that the app doesn't work for everyone and I intend to fix this. Unfortunately I have only one PC on which I can test the app and limited time (I spent well too much time on this recently and my wife is not happy 😅)and for me it works great. So if you would like to contribute to make this work for everyone you can test if the app works for you or not and send me a log file which is in C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\MSFS2024_AutoFPS to my email [email protected]. This way I will have more data and it will greatly help with debugging.

Also if possible I would like to start a new thread for this iteration of autoFPS

Also the new release (1.0.1.0) doesn't replace the 2020 version so you can have 2 versions along.

Try again. Had that issue in my first attempt.

It does successfully connect to the session but it behaves a bit "off". At ramp, the app increases LOD to 175, aiming 200.

Probably best to do that right now before this one spirals out of control, leave this one to those flying 2020 😊

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Window seems to be visible when you unselect Nvidia DLSS Frame generation. I hope this will be fixed in next update.
