SU 15 Delayed again

SU16 "next year"?  You mean after 2024 is released?  That doesn't make sense, does it?

I've always thought, from the roadmap, that SU16 would be the final update for MSFS2020 and that it would come out, you know, late summer-ish.  And then 2024 would come out in October/November.

If anything that shows their continued commitment to 2020 even after 2024 is released.  I'm sure we'll have people who won't get the new sim.  I won't be one of them.  I want to see pebbles in my rivers!

Hopefully MS2024 will have less giant trees spoiling the view.

Oh, if they're going to do that, that's pretty cool.

I figure I will run 2024 alongside 2020 for a while.   I may need to get another SSD though ugh.

You have to be kidding, I  thought SU15 got rid of that horrible  screen.

Have you tried just not looking at it?

Or replacing it yourself?

Minimize the screen, or go get a drink while it’s loading.

Just read that now they are hoping for the week of May 7.

Where did you see that?

For me, it makes perfect sense. MSFS 2024 is just around the corner. The focus now is on polishing it, putting the final touches, preparing it for release and fixing any bugs and issues that appear afterwards.

Asobo cannot handle having to prepare MSFS 2024 for release and still have to deal with bug-fixing a new Sim Update for MSFS 2020 at the same time.

I need a new one badly.  It might be the 2k community addons I'm using hahahah.

Today’s Q&A

I hope they at least fix that VR shutdown bug.

What I meant was, Asobo's calendar used to say they would be releasing SU16 *before* the MSFS2024 release.  And if it didn't have that in the calendar, I must be mis-remembering it.  So now, sure, it would make sense if they intend to release SU16 /after/ the MSFS2024 release.

Yes, it seems that with all the delays to SU15, the roadmap has changed and SU16 has been pushed to next year. SU15 is basically the end of the line for 2020.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Alt-Enter is your friend.

Doesn't do it for me, shouldn't have to,  when previously full screen could  be saved in settings.

I think we have enough Airbuses, we need the SU, I want to get rid of the Dune screen....😉

I totally agree! Toooo many airbuses. I can't believe they would hold up a SU because of an airbus, when we have several already. To hold up the SU is holding up other releases from some really cool developers, which I really don't think is fair, especially to those of us who can't stand the airbuses (boeing pilot here, sorry). I want the DUKE, not an Airbus!!!😆

Such a shame. I was quietly confident that during April we would see one of the following:-

BATC

SU15

PMDG 777

Patience is a virtue I guess

You forget why MSFS 2020 was built and why they are building MSFS 2024. The only goal is Xbox and it's not too Airbus for this one.
