May 2, 20242 yr Can't wait for release. Surely we're pretty close to launch now... ...a week away perhaps?
May 2, 20242 yr Its 1:1 the same functionalities as in FSHud, correct? Where exactly are the differences?

May 2, 20242 yr The fact I cant ask the controller what he had for lunch is the reason I wont be purchasing this on day 1

Actually BATC will not be the same category of addons as FSHud (and the upcoming VoxATC) on release. FSHud (and VoxATC when it will be released) injects and controls AI traffic and treats the user just the same as any other aircraft, there is separation and sequencing of AI traffic and the user. BATC does none of that. It only controls the user and does not interact with AI traffic at all. At least that is how I understood it. So BATC falls into one category with P2ATC, PF3 or Pro-ATC. I'm sure BATC will be great in that category and add a lot of immersion with the voice features it has. It's great to have so many choices. FSHud though is in a different category, together with the upcoming VoxATC, both of them simulate a full ATC environment. Hopefully BATC makes it into that category as well soon when they implement their AI traffic control as they announced. Would be great to have more options for that as well. May 2, 20242 yr I don't get it why it doesn't use Navigraph. If you have Navigraph subscription then you also have in-game data and also latest airac on every plane you have.

I think they don't want to sell a product that relies on people paying for an entirely separate product. Would be a pretty limiting factor in terms of customer base. He talks about it some in the video.

It DOES use Navigraph, if you update your sim navdata with Navigraph. It just takes whatever the sim gives (e.g. like the A300 or the A320neo) Edited May 2, 20242 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
