I've had some odd stutters w/o any overload to CPU/GPU/VRAM lately and someone here suggested a Win 11 update is to blame, this one: CPU performance degradation after 23H2 update : r/Windows11 (reddit.com) Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. It may cause stutters. At least it did in my case. Until I updated and restarted my PC and they all were gone Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). May 10, 20242 yr I was not at home when first reading this post but just now I had curcuit flying practice with M-346 and the stutters were very interrupting, making every turn difficult. May 10, 20242 yr I had a couple of pauses coming into Farnborough and Edwards ( KEDW), which I haven't seen before. I was testing the latest JF BAe 146 version. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
May 10, 20242 yr I got big stutters on the new Dukes as well. For testing sake, I tried first loading a default aircraft like a 172 first, exited the flight, then reloaded the Duke and it seems to fix the stutter problem. I have the latest 15 Beta update, but it could be anything causing this. Hopefully in time we will find a source of the issue.
May 11, 20242 yr No time for simming this week so can’t check, but I have found betas / updates in the past turning on rolling cache without my knowledge which has caused bad stuttering. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
