May 26, 20242 yr I have a bigger problem now. My last three attempts at loading the PMDG 737-600 have resulted in the "yoke hard over to the left" issue. The third failure was after shutting down the PC completely, rebooting, and trying again. This is not me trying to load a saved scenario. This is attempting to load the plane direct from the selection menu. Am I looking at a reinstall? As mentioned--when your flight initializes and you have the yoke left issue simply hit Esc, then choose Restart on the bar on the bottom of your screen. At least that has always solved this and it's both simple to do and reasonably quick at that. PMDG needs to patch this and I have to guess they will sooner than later. May 26, 20242 yr That has not worked this time. That is why I said that I have a bigger problem. I was not experiencing the "yokes hard over to the left" issue prior to this. I simply had blank screens, and no dials/switches/yokes were functional (the yokes were upright, but not able to be moved). This new problem seems to have arrived after I selected a time and date on the menu screen (before loading the 737), but then left the PC to go and watch the Monaco GP. In other words, it was on that selection screen for some time. Quite how that could affect the loading of the 737 I do not know, but that is the only difference when compared to initialising previous flights. EDIT: Ah, you meant hitting the RESTART button to reload the flight. I did not even notice that button. I had been rebooting from the main menu. Hitting the RESTART button has successfully loaded the plane. Presumably, I will need to do this for every flight now until a fix is released? I reinstalled FSX a few days ago to have a trip down memory lane with the PMDG MD11 which i spent far too much time on in ?2007/2008. Still gave me goosebumps but … honestly … the whole experience just falls so far short of what’s available now with MSFS and today’s Fenix and FBW. 14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor. The person said "Its no wonder I've not seen a decent polished addon in 10 years or so on all the platforms" No product is every polished but comes to a good standard even though they still have problems from time to time. Even the freeware products can be decent enough for most to do A-B flights. Pretty sure the same person was saying how bad the 787 was but for most saying how good it actually is with the lack of aircrafts we still do not have. If anything QualityWings/Captain Sim 757 were decent enough back in the day.

May 27, 20242 yr On my setup when I load a flight and hit ESC I don't see an option to Restart. I tried a bunch of hidden spots but nothing I could find. So far I have launched the sim and selected the PMDG 737 and had the yoke turned left. Sometimes things work but the yoke does not but most of the time no gauges and the yoke stuck hard left. If I close the sim and reboot it without turning the computer off the and relaunch the sim the PMDG 737 will work. Takes a lot longer and if I could simply load a flight hit ESC and hit a restart button that will be quicker. That fancy Restart button is missing on my screen must be a trick to see it! Edit: Okay I see...I was in windowed mode and when you are in this mode it does not show everything. Since i am typically multitasking I run in windowed mode it was hidden. Simply pressing ALT-ENTER going into full screen showed the restart option. That is much easier way to do it! Edited May 27, 20242 yr by longhaul747 New information

All three professional polished products with no silliness when it comes to dealing with customers. but heres a list off all the others off the top of my head with issues. fsl, pmdg, fenix, aerosoft 330, xplane 12 , p3d v4 and 5 , every rd preset scenery, uk2k scenery,. orbxs, aerosoft scenery, inibuilds scenery, mk studios, navigraph , flytampa. flight factor, i could list another 10, but you see my point, we have an overwelming large number of products have been released in a unpolished or unfinished state. May 27, 20242 yr Can I ask what you consider to be unfinished about the UK2000 scenery products? Whilst I have only been involved with beta testing these since I switched to MSFS last November, it would be useful information for me to check those airports that were released prior to me "seeing the light" Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
May 27, 20242 yr sure for example when a version of EGGW was brought out it wouid ctd the sim. so you had wait for the to patch to come out so to stop it doing so. The p3d dynanmic lighting was always horrirfic, and the scenerys felt bland and uninspiring. Edited May 27, 20242 yr by fluffyflops
May 27, 20242 yr I assume that you are referring to the MSFS version of EGGW Luton? The dynamic lighting in the P3D UK2000 airports worked fine on my PC (which was nowhere near top end), and the performance was good. In fact, it was the dynamic lighting in certain other products that was over saturated and poorly optimised.
