IniBuilds T-33 to be released next Friday the 30th...

Featured Replies

I know military aircraft are not to everyone's taste in MSFS, but this was mainly used as a trainer anyway.
I absolutely love this aircraft, and have been waiting for it.  I can't wait to see some of the international paint schemes for it.  They were used all over the world.

I had this notification from IniBuilds (Release date and a link to their product page).  Not a bad price either.  Grab a listen to those engine sounds in the video!  About 1 minute 35.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

This sort of discussion always interests me... "What do you do with military aircraft in MSFS?" Fly it. I am fascinated by some of it, especially watching some of them at the Chicago Air Show... I am

I was station in the early '80's at Castle which had 2 T-33's and 2 F-106's along with the B-52's and KC-135's!

Wow that looks fantastic, day one buy for me.

The videos do a great job of getting us ready for this.

Now Inibuilds, if you’re looking for a scenery project to go with this, a retro CFB Shearwater (CYAW) would be perfect…many T-birds were based there and it’s now a heliport only… we could use the old runway 16/34 back for T-33 ops! 😀

Hey a guy can dream 😂

I like that iB is doing so many different types of addons for MSFS.

This one is very cool - looking forward to reviews!

Can't wait for this one to be released. The last T-33 in the offing was A2A's initial study for FSX, which unfortunately didn't go forward. So many great aircraft at the moment - even being retired, I don't have enough time to keep up with them all.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

I think it's neat that they'll have an original and a modern cockpit.

It would be a fun to own a private T33 with modern glass!

I'm really excited for this release. My late father flew the T-33 in the USAF and the North Dakota Air National Guard. Flight Sim gives me the opportunity in some small way to experience what my dad flew. Day one buy for me too.

It was OK accuracy-wise, but I'm hoping this one will be more study level. I was engine run and taxi qualified, so I'm hoping to stir up some very old memories..

Great! I would love to hear your opinion on it.

Honest question: What do you do with military aircraft in MSFS?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

@Fiorentoni

With the military training aircraft I currently have, like the Hawk, MB339 etc. I fly them like I am on a training mission. The Mach loop in Wales is one quite fun option. They are normally a lot quicker to cover ground of course between sight-seeing points.

For "weapons loose" there is always DCS, but of course only limited parts of the world are modeled in that.

I'm planning on posting a review when I get it, so stay tuned!

PS: How does one go about finding the Mach Loop?

But to be honest, if you're on this side of the pond the scenery is better in Scotland.
